Unicode search/discovery tool for YASB?

Since (in my understanding) there's no subreddit for YASB (which sort of boggles the mind), I'm wondering how to best search for the unicode for icons in Segoe and Jetbrains .. I've tried searching for"uf0a2" and "u+f0a2" directly in a browser without any joy, as well as trying to use a specific unicode searching tool to type the unicode into (it always returns "nothing found"

Obviously there's an easier way to do this to find these unicode strings to better customize my layout - what am I missing? What's the easy way to search for, for example, "Steam", and find the unicode for it?

Space Specific Folders showing up in all Spaces

Version 1.21.4b

Slowly migrating across from Chrome to current (where I had about 7 profiles, one for each client w/ Google Workspace), and struggling to sort out how to ensure my bookmarks for each Space work.

I've set up a folder for each Space, and when I created each one, I used the drop down to select the one Space it was supposed to show up in, but except for one (my default / personal space), the folders show up in all the Spaces.

Is there something I am missing? I was also hoping there would be a way that the contents of each folder in each space would show up as separate icons, instead of requiring being opened to look at the contents.. is there a plugin to accomplish this, or should I submit it as a feature request?

Accessibility Functionality?

Hey SK devs..

I've been using SwiftKey for over 15 years - back in the day before MS purchased it I was buying themes and other functionality because nothing was better, and am happy to say it's still my favourite keyboard..

However, as I push into my senior years (I'm 50 in January), I consistently find the keyboard less and less readable.

Although I can resize the keyboard, it only changes the key height, doing nothing to increase the size of the font on those keys, making them just as unreadable as they were at half the size.

Since I know MS are big champions of accessibility and quick to innovate on improving accommodations for all those who need alternativea to their CX/UX experiences, I'm hoping that this post will help get some of this functionality pushed to the top of the backlog - allowing the font to increase along with the keycap size seems like the lowest hanging fruit and easy to accomplish, but I'm excited to hear your thoughts

Replacement for Tab S7?

I always find the bigger versions unwieldy, so I opt for the standard 11" models, since I carry them to work. (Been using Tabs since the S3)

I'm currently looking to replace my Tab S7 because I think it got a little flexed at one point, and while it otherwise works fine, there's a bunch of dead spots where the pen isn't recognized and I'm using it a lot more for writing/planning.

I was leaning towards an openbox S9 for 430 USD because it's the last one with Snapdragon, but with the lack of software updates past the next year I'm hesitant. I'd heard the processors on the newer ones wasn't great, but with the 7 years of updates, the newer ones will be supported for way longer.

I see mixed advice here where many posts are from those excited about their S10/S11 devices, but peppered into those posts are comments from what feels like OG Samsung users like me who aren't thrilled with the processors and computing power in the newer models.

I'm hoping for some advice from earlier snapdragon device users who've upgraded to the S10/S11 generation with the different processors and how they find the experience, but also not opposed to advice from anyone with the newer ones as well.

The openbox S9 feels great for the price, but I have also found someone locally with a 512gb S11 for sale, who I might be able to coerce into trading for my iPad Pro M1 (which I never use)

RDP into Win 11 Pro from Linux Machine (Password issues)

Windows 11 Pro: 24H2/26100.8655
Linux: Omarchy 3.8.2 (Obviously not looking for support with Linux, I have that working as required.)

Good afternoon!

I've recently broken my ankle, and trying to set up my Linux laptop (running Omarchy) so I can RDP into my Windows 11 Pro ( desktop on another floor of the house.)

I've followed a few guides to ensure I have the various settings enabled /disabled (like turning off PIN logins), but I am still unable to log in from the command line to cache my password in my user profile in Win 11.

I am guessing it's because I have a Windows passkey and 2FA enabled.. what's the best way to configure this so it works seamlessly without needing to disable all my account security protocols? I'm not interested in creating a separate local admin user as my primary account is already set up with a number of complex configurations that I'm not keen to duplicate. Hoping there's a comprehensive guide already out there someone can point me to .. I've tried to search it up but not getting good results. AI seems to think I am trying to connect TO Linux FROM Windows so that's no help.

Zen Browser Extensions Zoomed in/Unusable

1.20.2b (Firefox 151.0.3) (64-bit) on Omarchy 3.8.2

I'm not sure if this is a Zen issue or a Omarchy/Hyprland one, but since I can't find any information about it anywhere I am hoping it's some odd scaling bug.

I'm duplicating this to r/omarchy as well

I don't use Discord and searches on reddit + forums didn't seem to turn anything up for me

I'm trying to get Bitwarden working with Zen, but every time I click the small icon to open the extension, the window that pops up is lower resolution, large, and goes off the screen on the right hand side. The same thing happens with the Firefox Containers menu as well.

When I close either of these extensions, there's a flickering box overlaid over and under the Zen browser window.

You can see from my screenshots where the boxes are overlapping the right hand side, and from the third pic, you can see what the default text size is for the main browser window vs the extension window.

I'm crossposting this to r/zen_browser as well, hope this is kosher. (edit, looks like they dont allow crossposting, so I'll post it manually over there)

Double Wristed

Before my Pebble Time 2 arrived u was using an analog watch on my left and a Miband 6 on my right, relying on Notify foe Android to handle all my miband needs.

I am mostly into it for sleep tracking and the Sleep as Android integration is was pretty good, but notifications weren't working reliably, and I was looking forward to using my Pebble to handle everything.

3 weeks later and I'm not super thrilled with how inaccurate the Pebble is for sleep tracking - despite flipping all the switches and settings to ensure it stays connected all night, I still get dead spots and sporadic issues where my heartrate simply stops getting recorded in the middle of the night.

Grabbed a Fitbit Air yesterday and disabled all tracking on the Pebble for the time being to see how this might work out. Added bonus is being able to swap back to my mechanical watch collection when camping or doing work in the garage - I'm always worried about breaking the screen on my Time 2

For those curious about the strap on the Pebble, it's an Aliexpress 22mm quick strap for about $6 CAD. I'm happy to link it if people are interested, but I can report that the buckle doesn't lay flat and sticks up annoyingly.

Dash Cam USB C power installation

2017 Cmax Energj

I have a new dashcam that included a USB C power kit so it's always on, even when parked / car turned off.

I'm curious as to how I should wire this to ensure I don't drain the (small) starter battery.. Does this battery get topped up from the larger battery bank? Is it viable to connect the USB c directly to the cells in the trunk vs the traditional methods?
