Nintendo DS Lite. How to fix screens not holding together?

Some time ago my DS Lite fell down the shelf and the part you see in the picture broke. The console works just fine, but the upper screen now doesn't "click"/hold in position and just falls open with no resistance.

I do have the biggest missing piece (I don't know whether it suffices) but I don't know how to glue it/what to do with it.

Is there something I can do to restore the ability for my screen to "lock" semi-open?

Sorry for my terrible vocabulary, but I'm not writing in my first language.

Nintendo Switch dock connected but not displaying on the TV

Hello everyone,

I have an Nintendo Switch bought in 2017.

Some months ago the dock stopped working and I can't figure out the reason. It all started with very brief signal interruptions and it eventually turned out to be a total absence of signal while docked. The Switch DOES charge (and its screen goes black with the green light on the dock turning on), the TV DOES switch to the right HDMI channel, but it does not display anything and there is no video nor audio signal.

Here's all I tried (to no use):

- changing the HDMI port

- changing the HDMI cable

- changing the order I plug the cables in

- cleaning the HDMI cable

- cleaning the HDMI port

- opening the dock up to see if there's dust

- using isopropylic alcohol on a cotton swab to clean the motherboard of the dock, letting it dry and putting it back up

I then tried using a friend's dock on my TV, console and cables, and his one works perfectly, but I can't put my finger on what is the problem on mine.

Can anyone help me? 😭
