[ZF BB58 GMT "Coke" ] Looking for Jubilee & Rubber straps that actually fit

Hey everyone - Just picked up the v2 ZF Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT Coke from Stev. The watch itself looks and feels incredible, but I'm having a massive headache trying to find an aftermarket strap for it.

I ordered a couple of rubber options from AliExpress—one fully curved rubber strap, and one rubber strap that uses "pressure-fit" metal end links.

The issue is a severe "hinge effect." Because these generic straps lack a proper anti-rotation lip underneath—and likely because the BB58 GMT case sits deeper at 12.8mm compared to the standard BB58's 11.9mm and the gen GMT's—the end links and curved rubber just pivot and rotate freely around the axis of the spring bar. Instead of sitting flush against the case flanks, they sag and spin.

I’m looking to buy two specific setups that are verified to fit the ZF 39mm GMT case geometry tightly without rotating:

  1. A Jubilee Bracelet: Has anyone successfully paired a Jubilee with the ZF BB58 GMT? Looking for something where the solid end links sit flush against the deeper GMT case body without vertical play (e.g., Uncle Straps, Forstner, or a specific rep bracelet clone that fits).

  2. A Solid Rubber Strap: I want either a high-quality integrated curved rubber strap (like Vanguard or Monstraps) or a rubber strap with aftermarket metal end links that feature prominent rear-stabilization wings underneath to block the rotation entirely.

If you've cracked the code on strap/bracelet compatibility for the 39mm BB58 GMT case profile, let me know what setups or vendors worked for you.

Appreciate the help, and wrist shots always welcomed! 😎

[N/A] Wake up, Revolut. Ultra users are paying for less every month.

I've been a Revolut Ultra user for a while and travel internationally at least once a month. Sometimes more.

The switch from DragonPass to LoungeKey has been a massive downgrade, and I genuinely don't understand the decision or how they will try to justify to existing EU/Asian customers.

In just my recent trips last 1.5 months:

- Tokyo Haneda Terminal 3 (the main international terminal): no lounge access.

- Berlin Brandenburg: Tempelhof Lounge is gone, along with the dedicated immigration/Fast Track benefit.

- London City Airport: no lounge and essentially no meaningful benefit.

- Sofia Airport: lounge access gone.

For a premium subscription that keeps getting more expensive, the travel benefits are moving in the opposite direction.

The lounge benefit was one of the main reasons I paid for Ultra. If this isn't improved, as soon as my contract expires in September, I'll be cancelling and moving to Priority Pass or an American Express Platinum, and I doubt I'll be the only one.

If anyone from Revolut is reading this: please stop degrading one of the key premium benefits. Premium customers are paying for convenience while travelling, not for a shrinking list of exclusions.

Is anyone else considering leaving Ultra because of this?

[Take 3! ]QC: Black Bay 58 GMT Coke V2 ZF

Not been having much luck with this one, but finally got a somewhat decent QC after 2 tries. Want to run through here to see if I'm missing something obvious.

Dealer: Li @ Steve

Factory: ZF. They recently released a V2, so happy to see this is what they're giving now.

Model: Black Bay Fifty Eight M7939G GMT 39mm SS/SS Black Dial ZF A2836

Price: $390 incl. triangular shipping

Album (with video + timegrapher): https://imgur.com/a/SVMlY24

Index Alignment: Need 2nd opinion. I did my best to correct angle, but I just cannot get the alignment tool to match all indices. Tried multiple photos and times, best one I could get attached. Seems okay to me, thoughts?

Dial Printing: Clean — no bleeding, no leakage visible.

Date Wheel: Looks good, but it's a reliable 2836 movement, so not surprised.

Hand Alignment: Looks good to me, nothing jumping out.

bezel:

Alignment: The bezel is not aligned at 12 index - 1 turn to the right. Not too concerned about this unless I'm missing something.

Print: No major issues spotted.

SELs: Good.

Timegrapher: Good. 1s/d, 301 AMP, 0.1ms beat error at 52°. The lift angle seems on the higher end — For the ETA 2836, the LA should be 50. Correcting for that, I'm still good.

Overall thoughts needed:

a. Am I overthinking the index alignment in combination with bezel alignment?

New VS3235 low amplitude: normal or need service?

Hey all, longish post but I think the data is worth sharing. Would love to hear from others who have serviced or are running the VS3235.

Background

Picked up a VSF Yacht-Master from JTime. When the TD posted QC pics, the timegrapher showed 277° amplitude at 59° lift angle — looked great on paper. But when I tested it myself at 55–56° lift angle (which I believe is correct for VS3235), I was only hitting 230–240° dial up at full wind, and 220–225° in other positions. Already a notable gap from the QC photos.

So I decided to run a proper 48-hour power reserve amplitude test to see how the movement actually holds up. All readings are dial up, 56° lift angle, watch stationary on the TG. I wish I could test the full 70h, but I have a flight to catch. Might do one later.

What concerns me:

Full-wind amplitude of 240° at 56 degree vs the QC reading of 277° at 59° — even accounting for the lift angle difference, that gap seems large

My VS3235 dropped from ~230° at 32h to ~212° at 42h. This is steeper than I expected (~1.9°/hr vs ~1°/hr for earlier hours in my data)

40h amplitude touching 208° at the floor feels low for a movement rated at 70h

My questions for the community:

What amplitude are others seeing on their VS3235 at full wind and mid-reserve? Is 240° DU at 56° normal or low?

Does the steeper drop after 35–40h look like normal clone behaviour, or is this a sign the movement needs a re-lube?

Would you send this for a service, or just monitor and enjoy it?

Dealer: Jacky @ NecoClock

Factory: MKS

Model: Breguet Classique 5177-12 38mm White Dial, MKSF MY9015

Price: $298+ $35 triangular shipping

Album (with video + timegrapher): (Imgur blocked in UK) https://mega.nz/folder/H4xinQhC#Vxhl7Vqx0_3ywP7OoMrZ2g

First time ordering from NecoClock. Done my own pass below — please push back wherever you disagree.

Index Alignment: Looks decent to me after correcting for camera angle, but I'd genuinely appreciate a second opinion. Do the minute markers and indices all track well together in your view?

Dial Printing: Clean — no bleeding, no leakage visible. Anything I might be missing?

Date Wheel: Looks good to me, even though Geektime's QC tool said it's biased right and up. I just don't see that!

Hand Alignment: Looks good to me, nothing jumping out.

Bezel: No issues spotted.

SELs: No SELs

Timegrapher: +1s/d, 248 AMP, 0.2ms beat error.

Overall: Pretty happy with this overall.

Would love the community's verdict, and whether I missed something.
