POV: you're a Libran Aphrodite devotee 🩷💖♎️

Recently came to the realization that I want my altar to be (imperfectly) symmetrical, especially with the addition of my two beautiful statues 🥰

Found not one but TWO vintage statues of Aphrodite on fb marketplace

Took some elbow grease to get them clean, and i still havent properly rearranged my altar to fit them, but they're so lovely and i couldnt be happier 🩷🥹

Using card conjurer and can't find the power/toughness frame that I want, any advice?

Hi all! What the title says. I'm trying to make a version of balefire dragon that has a frame like the one pictured but the only options I can find for power/toughness are the textured kind, not the smooth outline kind that matches the rest of the frame. I'm hoping that I'm just missing it amongst the options but if anyone has done this successfully please share how you did it 🙏 thanks in advance!

Seeking basing advice!

Hi all, here to show off my latest (almost) finished model as well as to ask advice for finishing up his base. Previously I have used fine glow in the dark glitter to act as sand, and bits of purple craft moss cut to look like coral. I want to push my bases even more! I still want to have glow in the dark sand but now I'm thinking big pieces of coral, shells, and maybe even some fish!

So i wanted to ask if anyone has found good shells that are in scale with these guys (or close, they can be dramatically sized) or if anyone has experience using basecover from Baron Of Dice cause they have a beach one but I'm worried I'll end up paying >$20 for a tiny tub of 95% sand and 5% little shells and stuff.

Thanks in advance!! Also feel free to share your aquatic themed bases in the comments :)

2007 honda civic, shop told me "lower motor mount" needs replaced. Rockauto has motor mounts listed by right or left?

Hello all! Firstly I want to say I will not be attempting this repair on my own, I have enlisted the help of two friends who have experience working on their cars.

My local shop told me my "lower" motor mount needs to be replaced. When I went shopping on Rockauto (per this sub's suggestion) it has the mounts listed as left or right. My friend told me I could go look at my motor mounts and figure out which one the "lower" one is, but frankly I don't want to risk buying the wrong one 😅 and figured someone here might have experience and be able to tell me for sure which one I need to buy. It's a 4 door sedan (LX) automatic 1.8l if that is pertinent.

Thanks in advance!

Hi all! I posted some time ago and received the very valuable feedback that my portfolio needs to be viewable and optimized for mobile. I have done just that and it is now about 80% finished! The business cards will take you to an empty page but the book and cellphone both take you to their respectibe project pages, and there are also About and Contact pages! And of course if anyone does happen to be on desktop, all pages should be visible there already :)

I would be very grateful to anyone who takes a look and lets me know what you think :) thanks in advance!

What the title says. I'm not a new DM but also don't have a ton of experience. I've been running this game since December. We meet every other week at best (we've had 7 sessions) and the sessions are almost always less than 4 hours. I spend hours/days prepping and then the session comes and I feel like I'm just flailing around and being pressured by my players to not run things the way I planned/the module says. My players can probably brute force their way through curse of strahd with very little help from allies, which is good because they have spent the last couple sessions going around making NPCs hate them. Fights are boring, roleplay is tense in a bad way, and i end every session thinking "why did i let them talk me out of this plan? I should have done x, y, z" and that feeling persists into the next day, so I don't think it's just DM drop.

I guess my question is, should I press on and hope the feeling lessens or that I find my flow as a DM? Or does this mean I don't really like DMing and should just call it? I love my players IRL. We're all very good friends who hang out outside of DnD. I don't want to "dump them" as a DM but I also don't know how to tell them I feel like this without hurting their feelings 😭
