Hey founders,

Have noticed that most of VC & investor details are usually paywalled or not up to date.

Because of it, we have built a directory of funding at desifounder, which can be accessed for free by all users. Currently have added around 70+ investor details, and doing it manually to verify most of the data is accurate and up to date. Will keep adding around a few hundred more investor details in the coming weeks.

To keep things up to date, have added a form where any signed up user can add funding details too.

In future will add the option for owners to claim the specific funds to edit and keep their details accurate, and also an option for users to request edits too (similar to wikipedia).

Currently on latest versions of both firefox and chrome browsers as listed below.

Browser Versions:

• Chrome: 148.0.7778.97
• Firefox: 150.0.1

ProtonVPN Plan

• Proton Unlimited

Additional Extension on browsers:

• Ublock Origin on firefox
• Ublock origin lite on chrome
• bitwarden extension

Servers Tried:

• Fastest country
• USA (multiple cities)
• India
• UK, etc.

Issues:

• Majority websites do not load, throws error
• The minimum numbers that load, take 3x more time to load every single page before giving up

Actions tried:

• Disabling netshield
• disabling auto-connect
• temporarily disabling ublock origin extension
• removing proton vpn extension > restarting browser > reinstalling extension

Nothing seems to be working and it's quite frustrating as a paying user.

Note: VPN currently works fine on iOS, and most of the time works fine on macOS directly via app. Problem being faced is on Windows 11 pro.
