6.6 Duramax Engine Stand Adapter

Hey everyone, I messaged the mods to check if this was okay but never heard back, so if this isn’t allowed I’m happy to remove it.

I run Shively Machine Works and make the 6.6 Duramax engine stand adapter I’ve attached photos of. Normal price on it is $179.99 but I’m running an Independence Day sale this weekend, so the adapter is $148.02 shipped in the lower 48.

Made from 3/8” steel plate and 2 1/2” x 1/4” square tube. It is verified to fit on the Daytona 1500 lb and Pittsburgh 2000 lb engine stands, and should fit other stands with a rectangular mounting plate and 7 7/8” x 4” hole pattern.

If you’re interested in one please comment or message me and I’ll send you my website, or I can invoice you for it through PayPal Goods and Services

Unauthorized Transaction Dispute

I have a customer who filed an unauthorized transaction dispute (they authorized the transaction and panicked when I didn’t reply to an email within 2 hours) and PayPal put a hold on the funds for the transaction, for about $190. I hadn’t sent the product to the customer, so I told them I was going to cancel their order and issue a refund.

When the dispute was opened my account had no money in it, so after it was opened I had a negative balance of $190. When I tried to accept the dispute and refund them, I was given an error that I didn’t have enough money to refund them so I initiated a withdrawal from my bank for $190 to bring the balance to $0. Today that transaction cleared and my account balance was $0, Im still getting the error.

My understanding is that because PayPal is holding the funds, I should be able to just accept the dispute and the buyer is refunded, I end up with $0, PayPal ends up with $0 and the buyer gets refunded but it sounds like PayPal wants me to add another $190 to my account. Does this make any sense to anyone?

Every time I’ve dealt with disputes in the past I’ve been able to just issue a refund if need be and if my account balance ended up negative just add the funds necessary. Customer service has been absolutely useless trying to figure this out and I have very low confidence that I won’t end up issuing the refund and then having PayPal close the case in the guys favor, giving him the refund twice

Sometime last year I made a post trying to create a limited rotation rate tracking tool in Blender. My goal was to have a turret that is limited to a set rotation rate per second, and be able to give it a target, and let blender track that target at up to the set rate.

I originally wanted to create it just using drivers, but was recommended to try using geometry nodes.

I decided to work in 2D for simplicity, and because I can always modify it for elevation once I figure this part out. So far I’ve been able to figure out how to set of my max rate, using the scene time node and dividing the FPS by the rate per second I want, set a starting vector, set a vector to my target, and convert that target angle using arctan2, but I can’t figure out how to combine it all.

I’ve attached what I’ve come up with so far, the first 3 pictures are the node groups, and the final picture is where I was trying to combine it all, some of the labeling might not make sense because I’ve been tinkering with it and not changing the labels right away, maybe someone can help.

My issue is it seems like I need to have a reference loop, where the end result of the sim at frame 1 is used to do the entire calculation again on frame 2 and so on, but I haven’t been able to figure that out.

My next thought is using a repeat zone for the math
