Would it be too much to ask for some feedback on a classical music website?

I recently started CT Chamber Collective to help people discover classical and chamber music concerts around Connecticut.

Would it be too much to ask you all to take a look and tell me what you think?

https://ctchambercollective.com

I'm especially curious whether the site makes it easy to find concerts and what you think is missing.

Appreciate any honest feedback!

After 2 years of trying, I wanted to come back and share some hope

After almost two years of trying, I wanted to come back and share my experience in case it helps someone who's where I was.

This subreddit became a huge resource for me. I spent countless hours reading other people's stories, comparing semen analyses, asking questions, and trying to learn as much as I could. There were definitely days when I felt discouraged and wondered if we'd ever get there. We did IUI got pregnant the 1st time after trying naturally for almost a year, but had a miscarriage shortly after.

Over that time, I made a lot of changes. I lost weight (from 290 lbs to 255 lbs), cleaned up my diet, exercised more consistently, and took a hard look at the supplements I was taking. At first, I was throwing everything at the problem and taking way too many supplements. After doing more research and getting feedback, I simplified my routine and focused on the basics instead of trying to take everything under the sun.

I also kept tracking my semen analyses. Some things improved over time, while others, like morphology, remained frustratingly low. It wasn't a straight line, and there were plenty of setbacks along the way.

About three months after making those changes, we found out we were expecting. We timed my wife's ovulation, increased the frequency that week, and my wife used some kind of semen cup.

I can't honestly say which change, if any, made the difference. It could have been the weight loss, simplifying my supplements, time, luck, or a combination of everything. Fertility is complicated, and I don't want to pretend there's a magic solution.

I mainly wanted to come back and say thank you. The people here answered my questions, shared their experiences, and helped me stay hopeful when I was struggling. Reading success stories kept me going, so I wanted to add mine to the list.

If you're in the middle of this journey, don't give up. Keep working with your doctors, keep taking care of yourself, and try not to let one semen analysis define your future. Improvement is possible, and sometimes things really do work out when you least expect them.

I genuinely wish all of you the best, and I hope every one of you gets to post your own success story someday. ❤️

Anyone in Hartford interested in meeting up for classical concerts?

I've been getting into classical music over the past year and have been going to a lot of concerts, especially at Yale. I'd like to meet other people who enjoy going as well.

I'm open to concerts anywhere in New Haven County, Fairfield County, the Hartford area, or the Waterbury area. I usually go to Yale's free recitals and orchestra performances, but I'm happy to check out other orchestras and venues too.

I already have plans to see Joe Hisaishi in NYC later this month with a few friends, but for Connecticut I'm hoping to meet people who'd be interested in grabbing a coffee beforehand or just enjoying a concert together.

If you're into classical music, what performances are you planning to attend this fall? Any recommendations for orchestras or venues around the state?

Anyone else love New Haven's classical music scene?

I've been going to the Yale and other orchestras around New Haven throughout the year. Love that whole pre-concert atmosphere when everything's settling. Is anyone else here into that? Would anyone want to meet up before a show sometime?
