but can we please get more moderation on the posts that are basically just "follow4follow" callouts and account selling?

it's spam and entirely unproductive on how to legitimately grow a following and learn the technical ends of the platform.

not to mention all the posts that say "i grew an account 100k followers in 2 days with my technique" and then literally don't say what they did while asking commenters to DM them

​

i want to see metrics. i want to see the hooks you used and the effect it had on viewer retention.

Re: Today's announcement from Embark

So many of y'all are shitting yourselves and crying, "Now the game is truly gonna die!"

Have any of you heard of the quality triangle?

Pick two.

- Cheap

- Good

- Fast

Y'all want fast updates every month (which isn't sustainable for the Embark team long term), so you will get "cheap" and "good" updates at the potential cost of more micro transactions that gatekeep more fundamental parts of the game in order for them to sustain that model.

Y'all want strong, good, quality updates at the current price point of $40 with buying a skin here and there? Then give them time to cook.

Seriously. It has been YEARS since a gaming company has been this communicative with their player base on such a regular basis and has given so much transparency.

Now - if October rolls around and they fumble, we can voice concerns for sure. But with their monthly and weekly patches, they have proven time and time again that they're listening to the community and the concerns.

If you're spiraling and screaming, "The game is dying" meanwhile you have 400+ hours logged, chill and go play something else for a minute.

Sincerely, a 450+ hour player who is still having a blast.
