Hi folks

Looking for some advice- just got the quarrellers box and planning to build half as rangers and half as thunderers (already have thunderers).

Would people generally build those units with standard and musician or not? Thinking will build for each as looks cool but when playing are they better without them to keep units cheaper?

Looking to do something cool with my anvil of doom. Seen some folks with awesome bases and customization. Love to see more pics if anyone has anything like to share for some inspiration for what to do with mine

Hey folks, try taking the dive into the old world and picked dwarfs as my first army. So far got 20 man warriors, 20 hammerers, two canons and two gyro copters painting and have a bunch of hero’s in the works but wanted to ask some possibly basic questions about army/models to help what I do next. So was hoping some folks might be able to answer with their experience.

1. What’s the best way to make rangers? Heard someone say use quarrelers box with some conversions, what exactly is needed?

2. I want to creat a scenic base from my anvil of doom: sort of built into a side of mountain or cave. How big a base can I put it on. Want to build something cool as priority but like play it in the odd game as well

3. Like the look of long beards; would you recommend over say something like ironbreakers?

4. Want to do some cool unit fillers, any advice or rules about how large they can be?

I’m building and painting dwarfs as my first Old World army but struggling how to base them. Would like a Rocky Mountain with some snow theme. Anyone have any tips/advice? (Bonus points for any pics for inspiration)
