Didn’t even try to explain that 40 gallons is the minimum, because I’m hopping she will get something better but lord knows if I told her they need 40 she wouldn’t.
Went to clean up the tank and top off the water and noticed soft like mold growing. Any idea of what this is and if it could be harmful?
So as many people with cheaply made suburban houses, I have been cursed with a plastic bathtub with a lovely pattern for grip at the bottom which collects dirt a disgusting amount. Previously I have a used the bar keepers friend which has worked but not without a painful amount of scrubbing. I stumbled upon the weird Irish Spring 5 in 1 hack and figured I’d try it.
Pros:
- this is quite possibly the cleanest I have seen my bathtub in forever
- after sitting I went over lightly with a scrubbing brush and all of it lifted
-it does work like magic
Cons:
-good lord my whole house smells like a teenage boy the smell is everywhere, it has infected every part room
-felt like a gas chamber with the smell it was very overwhelming
-it felt a little pricey considering I used the entire bottle for one clean
Overall I would say if your bathtub is horrible and nothing is working this would be amazing but for me I genuinely don’t know if I would do it again simply because I felt as if I was trapped in a can of axe body spray.
I got my new betta about a week ago however he seems so REALLY struggle eating. At first I thought it was the size (I’ve had other bettas struggle with the large pieces) so I pick out the small ones but he still eats it, spits it out and then continues to try until it sinks. I soaked them in water before to make them softer but STILL he keeps spitting them out. I’m genuinely worried he isn’t going to get any food at all. I feed bug bites so it’s not like it’s low quality food. Please let me know if you guys have any tips because it’s clear that he wants to eat but just can’t?
