I have been using an iPhone 12 Pro Max since its release.
Before that I was on a 24 month refresh cycle.
Now I am ready for a new Phone. I just replaced the battery on the 12 Pro Max to hand it down to the kids.
I will certainly not go with a Pro next, as I am tight with money these days. I'll miss the 3rd camera, but it's just not worth the price hike for me. I would have probably gotten a pro if it was titanium... Aluminum feels like butter. Drop once, big dent.
I plan to keep the new phone for at least 4 years.
I am pretty certain that the iPhone 18 will be significantly more expensive, so I think I'll get the 17, no matter when I'll get it.
