Is it possible to make decent cheese without "quality" milk?

So, here is the thing: I live in Argentina, and buying milk to pasteurize yourself is apparently not legal without a log of bureaucracy, and it has been a long time since Ive seen non ultrapasteurized and homogenized milk.

Fresh (in sachets), yes, but I am concerned about it not being suitable to start my cheesemaking path. The kind that if they farm a skin at all, it is thin and small, unlike what I remember from my childhood.

I do yogurt and I think I remember making ricotta at some point in my life, but I never really tried making "actual" cheese.

So, what would you do in my case? Im sure there are ways around it to get better quality milk without breaking my bank account, but If someone could allay my fears on this matter (sorry for bad english) I would appreciate it

Thanks in advance

Social mentors/godfathers

Basically that, a program on which people volunteer to support people early in life with knowledge, networking, training in skills, or even just advice.

Maybe there could be even an enticement to help them succeed if we want to make it more transactional, like a persona investment rather than patronage

What are you small pet(ty) peeves when it comes to litrpg works?

Personally, the use and overuse of (final)"though" (too informal, feels like a chat, not a book) and the overt reference to IRL media, both break immersion for me. They are tiny subjective things, hence the title, but I can't help it.

What are yours?

What quotes would you show someone as examples of good writing?

I don't mean necessarily mastery in message or vocabulary, doesn't need to be the best *overall* example of writing and it can be flawed. What I mean is that it is at *least* a good example of a specific something in writing you believe to be good enough for that.

For example,

>"I won't shout at you!" shouted Nynaeve

... It won't win any prizes, but it is a simple way to show how one can portray a certain mood without being overly descriptive. You can infer through the blatant discrepancy her frustration. You don't need to do more than this, sometimes less being more.

So I ask, what examples would you use if for example you were teaching a class? About nuance and vocabulary? Evocation? Punctuation? Characterization? Atmosphere? Anything really, it's up to you. Also, thanks in advance

Looking for a deep dive into a singular path (martial or arcane preferred)

Something like a main character that genuinely delves on the path of swordsmanship and this is not glossed over but goes into detail. Or a mage that does deep research on magic and everything isnt just "a wiizard did it", even if its whimsical of a system, still not just taking stuff out of theirarse.

Of course, it could be something different like cooking, parenthood, finances, or anything you can imagine, the point is for it to be the goal, not just a means to an end, and with a satisfying amount of detail and complexity whatever it is.

Thanks in advance

Mejoras distribuidoras para una despensa?

Buenas,

I have not played them all personally but seen them and enjoyed it. The ones I liked are:

  • Doom machine
  • The machine (the journaling one)
  • Cartographer
  • Scoundrel (poker deck)
  • Judgemint of the realm lords
  • Tin helm/realm
  • Doom pilgrim
  • Galdor's grip
  • Escape the dark castle
  • Vantage (conceptually)
  • Onirim
  • Sprawlopolis
  • Four against darkness
  • 2D6 dungeon
  • Rove
  • Mini rogue
  • One card maze
  • Bloc by bloc (I read it can be played solo)
  • Northwood
  • Palm island (conceptually)
  • Glide
  • Koriko (journaling)
  • Unreliable wizard
  • Maquis
  • Beacon patrol
  • Bullet heart
  • Hit Z road
  • Maze (the book)
  • Neurojacker

Im generaly not a fan of very large euro games for solo, the longer the game for the simplest of mechanics the better, portability is a plus, and I know someone will recommend final girl, which I want to like but so far have not quite hooked me in.

Anyway, thanks in advance!

Basically the title. I dont remember much, only a group of women talkign in a kitchen, but I remember whatever it was affected only the male population, even children iirc. It made them... crazy? Devolved? Impulsive? Something along those lines

Thanks in advance
