Apple Trees not producing fruit

Hi everyone! I bought a house in January that is a bit of a backyard orchard. There are three espalier apple trees, and two regular apple trees, as well as many red currant bushes.

One of the regular apple tree has about six apples on it, and the rest of the trees have no fruit at all. Every time I go outside, there's tons of pollinators around. What happened? What can I do to increase yield next year?

What does my dining room say about me?

I know I need something on the wall above the hi-fi but I haven't found the right piece yet

Every morning, I'm struck by the beauty of the house across the street from me. Needs a little TLC but the bones are so nice.

What to do with my roof shingles?

Hi all- I'm looking for advice. I've been working on building The Whitney for the past couple years (bought the kit for $15 at an estate sale!). I just finished the shingling on the roof, but the shingles I used, I bought at different times and the wood color is pretty drastically different from each other. You can see the variation in the first pic. Is my only solution to paint them? Would it look off to paint them dark, like a dark brown? I think staining them will not help too much?

Also, as an aside, I just finished painting that ceiling white, but now I kind of hate it. Should I make it look wood instead? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

My grandfather passed away in December. I recently found his digital camera, and he had just a couple of pictures on it, all from a trip we took together in 2014. Where were we?

Should I get a rabies vaccine?

As you guys may have seen, I am working with a rehabber to rescue baby skunks under my porch. I captured 6 today, and waiting on the seventh.

I fed them wet food on a tupperware lid, and I removed it with my bare hands, and I don't remember if I washed my hands immediately after. Is this enough contact with their saliva to be a concern? I feel really stupid.

There's a family of orphaned skunks living under my porch. I'm working with a rehabber to get them safe, but they are so freaking cute

Some WIP pictures of the house I've been working on for over a year. This is my first time making anything like this!

Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

I've had Malachi for a couple years now, I got him from a woman who was rehoming him. When I got him, he was a huge cat, and a love bug. Over the past 18 months or so, he started dropping weight really rapidly. The vet was treating him for hyperthyroid, but it wasn't helping. It finally reached a head in December, when he hit 7 pounds, would scream all day long, and bit me so hard I needed stitches.

The vet took a swing that maybe he had IBD and his only symptom was weight loss. He started on IBD safe food and vitamin B12 shots and the difference was almost instantaneous. He stopped screaming after his first meal of the new food! And now, 5 months after he's started this, I finally feel like I have my loving, sweet, goofy baby boy back!
