Connor Storrie as Bobby Drake

I know he’s slightly older than the rest of the cast and Bobby is supposed to be younger, but it’s not by much (he’s 26 now, and Sadie Sink is 24 by comparison). He’s an incredible actor and performer who is still relatively new to the industry. He’s got the physique, the charm and emotional range needed to play him. I mean the guy literally played a closeted gay hockey player, I can’t think of anyone better.

An idea to fix Torch’s movement

TLDR: movement speed scales with primary ammo, dash reduced to 5m but the second charge can be cast immediately after the first.

Right now, if you want to move faster with plasma body, you have to spend a dash cooldown. So half the time you're not dashing to escape or reposition, you're doing it just to feel mobile and get increasing speed. Then it wears off and you're back to crawling through the air, with no real rhythm to control your speed. (This is usually when I die)

Which brings me to my idea: What if his speed scaled up and down with his primary ammo instead?

It would look like this: Full ammo = full speed (current Plasma Body speed becomes his base speed). Every shot lowers it a notch, down to his current base speed at empty. Ammo regens one at a time (reverted back to his old days), so speed climbs back up gradually but quickly the moment you stop shooting. The balancing revolves around the fact that you are given better mobility when out of action to reposition or trying to escape, but become more vulnerable and easier to punish the more you fight and engage.

The current dash cooldown stays, but it’s not tied to plasma body. Maybe it goes down from 10m → 5m and you can use both charges immediately after the other, which would feel so much better as a quick dodge or reposition tool to zig-zag around obstacles or people.

This would give Torch a reliable gameplay loop and an actual identity as a brawler with diving capability: set up → commit → escape → reset. You'd use your full speed to fly into position, drop Pyro Prison and set up your angle, then dive in and dump your primary. As you fight, you're getting slower and more vulnerable (that's the tradeoff for committing to the kill). Then you dash a couple times to peel off, and as you disengage, your speed is already ticking back up because your ammo is regenerating. By the time you're clear, you're back to full speed and ready to reset.

What do you guys think?

Gambit teamup effects should be reversed

I think everyone can agree that the Phoenix teamup is objectively better than Gambit’s, but that’s just because you can pass up the extra damage with a hero like Cyclops. But imagine if the Gambit teamup gave the increased fire rate with the base effect, and then gave the mobility boost with the enhanced one as a bonus. This would make it much more viable because both teamups would increase overall DPS in different ways to make up for his damage nerf in the last patch.

Got my first propulsion beam terrain kill!

I was sitting here at this spot specifically to try and do this, and I actually pulled it off. So satisfying!

Also, don't bash my aim too bad, I'm on controller 😂
