I see all the other kinds but this one is alluding me. Anyone have a source ?

Hey folks,
Coming to visit for a few days soon. I have a few old school favorites to hit up , but what's new and interesting for restos in Regina. Reviews are so baked now that it's hardly worth checking them let alone relying on them for good advice.
We like pretty much everything but especially Japanese , Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian.
We tried Ginger Garlic last visit and loved it.
Not looking for fine dining , just tasty eats. Lunch and dinner, maybe a breakfast or two.
Sold my house, so we gotta move. I was emptying my wine fridge with my "good stuff" and had a horrible slip , which ended with my tondonia White broken on the floor.

We managed to find it on our trip to Spain at a wine bar.

No idea how I'm going to find another this stuff is not easy to track down.

Never even got to taste it. Of all the bottles I had this was my most "rare" so it was probably the worst one to lose.

Just wanted to share here because most people don't get it.
Hi all,
I am between houses and want to park my equity in the best possible place with risk free interest/dividends/etc. It also has to be liquid so when I do find the new house I can just use it for the down payment.
I am looking at the Tangerine 5 months promotional rate of 4.5%. Is there something out there better than that?
In the past we used Uber eats once in a while. It was generally pretty good , stuff arrived quickly and edible. Ordered a couple weeks ago and first nobody picked it up for 30 minutes. Then they had 4 stops along the way way off route.
Decided to give it one more try tonight and they again have 4 stops along the way. We have already started the oven to reheat the good when it arrives.
The first time I connected customer service but cold food is not considered a problem in their business model.
This will likely be the last time . I'll eat a bowl of cereal or order a local pizza with delivery should the need arise.
Paying more for less , not on my must do list.
Hi all ,
I normally work from home , but also have sold my place. The inspection is tomorrow so I have to be out of the house. And of course, the kid has a pedagogique day , so I have a 9 old along for the ride.
I'm looking for a place that will have available outlets (not a place that has limited places that are always taken) , where I can take a conference call (I am not louder than normal conversation between patrons) , and if there is any interest for the kid that is a bonus. If not , regardless of the monster it will turn her into , she'll be having an iPad filled day (she'd be happy about that , but not me so much).
Does anyone know if the little building at quai de cageux has outlets , perhaps that's an option? I've noticed a bunch of tables in there , but doesn't seem to be a restaurant or anything.
Worst case , I'm just going to hit up cafes in the morning until I find a power outlet, then go for lunch and hit up another one for the afternoon until the inspection is done. My battery drains very fast and last time it drained I had to do a full power reset involving taking it apart and disconnecting the power cables which I don't feel like doing again. My job won't replace the laptop for another year unless it completely dies and again , prefer not to deal with it.
Thanks for any recommendations you might have.
Hey all,
Started working out about 1.5 years ago , could barely do a single pullup. I've been pretty consistently working out albeit not focused completely on doing pullups since December 2024.
In April 2025 I did AthleanX pullup or shutup routine , that got me from 1 - 6. Then I've been just doing various lifting programs 3-4x per week sometimes the routines had pullups but not all that often. I decided to run the pullup or shutup routine again this month and today I managed to pull off 10 pullups in a set!
I don't talk much about workouts with friends and family , because most people couldn't care less and I don't wanna bore them. So just wanted to share it here , it's kind of a bucket list thing I've been wanting to check off for years ... just took me WAY too long to get started.
That is all.
Hi all ,
Perhaps a bit too niche to ask here , but thought I'd ask if anyone in here can recommend a really good luthier to adjust an acoustic guitar. Not just a truss rod twist and change the strings ... but a real attention to detail type that can make it sing.
I am upgrading from an old firestick that just takes way too long to get between screens and Plex app no longer decodes some files properly.
I got a Roku plus , but unfortunately it will not control my Projector volume. Seems that the new technology can't handle translating a simple IR signal for volume on my projector.
My old firestick does this without issue. Before I bother returning the Roku and ordering a new firestick thought I would ask here if it someone here knows whether or not a new Firestick would continue to work for controlling volume?
It's kind of annoying to think that I might have to use the projector remote just to control the volume.
It's a fairly old receiver which does not do eARC.
