Not entirely sure how this happened, but my wife accidentally got the strap caught and it pulled the chest strap connection thingy.

Going to walk Kinder Scout in about two weeks and was wondering if I needed gaiters?
The weather is getting wetter and I already have waterproof trousers, but wondering if gaiters would be useful for when walking through wet grass/bracken or something when it’s not actually raining.
Still at the point in the year where I’m not sure whether to wear shorts or trousers, so long or medium gaiters or what, I don’t know.
Any advice from walkers as to what works well?

Ring doorbell for the last month is getting worse. Many times we get brief clips of delivery men walking away from the house after delivering stuff.
Just now I managed to walk up to the house and let myself in through the front door. Ring doorbell didn’t notice me, and no hint of anything in Event History.
WiFi signal is good before anyone asks & motion sensitivity to max.
Getting fed up with it now.
