Upscale image request.

Would really like to use this as a phone wallpaper image but the quality is poor. It is the X-Men Sega Genesis artwork from the early 90s from artist Phil Winslade, I’ve looked all over, but can’t really find a high-quality version of it. Just trying to get my hands on a clean, high-quality detailed version of this image. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Paul’s new album is fabulous. “Ripples in the Pond” is my favorite track. I can’t stop listening.

Glad I grabbed this green variant like 2 weeks ago, because now they’re all sold out!

I’m wondering something.

I have this family home video from the early 90s. I’m not quite sure on the story of why this tape was made but essentially it’s a black screen probably because it was either having video problems or the lens cap was left on and my dad just left this thing sitting on a table in our living room, recording, just burning through the tape, somehow it was in preparation of an upcoming vacation we had. So I have like almost an hour of us sitting in the room and you can hear us just talking, it’s sort of feels like a “fly on the wall“ situation when you play this thing because you can just hear us doing our thing and being together, but the annoying thing is that it’s got loud noises from the TV overwhelming most of the audio.

Here’s my thought, at some point, you can hear a full episode from the show “home improvement” start playing, and it just plays throughout a big portion of this video so I am wondering, if I could find out which specific episode it was and render an audio file from that episode so that I can have the audio of it, and somehow use that to cancel out the audio of that episode playing in the background, would I be able to essentially “noise cancel“ the audio of this home improvement episode in the background, with that essentially reveal more sound, detail of the back-and-forth chatter and discussions happening with my family and I in our living room more clearly?

Has anyone here ever done this type of thing before?

Could someone possibly edit this X-Men artwork? – free

Please remove the logo in the middle and also extend the top and the bottom slightly to make it more appropriate to the dimensions of an iPhone wallpaper image without cropping anything or losing any of the image. Thanks so much.

Trying to figure out the best way to enhance this corrupt audio, really could use some advice or some help if someone thinks they can help.

Hello fellow audio engineers. My skills are somewhat limited and I’m mostly self taught, I’m stuck on this. Just curious if there is a resource either I or someone else could utilize that would enable me to repair a corrupted audio file that I have. The corruption of the audio is actually comprised of two main issues. 1, the audio is incredibly hard to hear. You can hear it somewhat, It’s just very very low for some reason. The other issue is occasionally you’ll hear bursts of audio as if it suddenly returns to a normal level for a millisecond and then goes back down. It’s from an old home movie VHS tape that I converted to digital, but the videotape itself was corrupted. Wondering if there’s an AI audio editing tool that would maybe allow me to enhance the audio? I have included on this post a like on my Google Drive to a clip from that video and you can hear the issue that the audio has. I tried separating the audio from the video and uploading the video into multiple filters and other various things in my DAW, but nothing seems to have an effect. I’m wondering if I might need to use AI somehow if that’s an option. Maybe someone here who has experience with that sort of thing can help. it would mean so much to me because this video includes people from my family who are no longer with us. Thank you so much.

My friend and I have a movie review podcast and we just covered Jumanji in the latest episode.

I don’t know if it’s allowed to be shared here, but I thought I would do that, I thought there might be some people here who may be interested in checking it out. Thanks everyone.

I need some help with button mapping.

Hello fellow retro gamers. I need some assistance from someone who has experience with Launchbox/Retroarch, I am trying to get this done with the help of ChatGPT, but it isn't going so well.

I have 4 USB controllers that I use for retro game emulating on my PC. I have a USB NES, a USB SNES, a USB Sega, and a USB N64. I only play games on my PC from those 4 consoles. Ideally I'd like to switch between each controller depending on if I am playing a NES, SNES, Sega, or N64 game.

I play these games on Launchbox/Retro Arch, but Launchbox is my go-to primary interface, with RA working with it, and I'm having trouble getting the right buttons mapped and bound to each controller. I was in the quick menu port control menu in Retro Arch, and some of the buttons are correct, while others are not, or some are unresponsive, so obviously I must be doing something wrong.

I am thinking I may just need to start over and map this properly, if someone is able to help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

*edit update*

Turns out the Sega Genesis controller and the NES controllers are good to go. It’s the SNES and N64 controllers that are more complicated and still need to be mapped/bound correctly.

Should I be concerned about drilling a hole in the wall by this outlet?

Here’s my situation. The main floor of my house is set up upon a cinderblock basement foundation and there is an addition on the main floor of a home office area, but it’s a few steps below the main floor on the ground so it’s sort of shares a wall partially with the basement. I’m trying to run an ethernet cable from one end of the house down into the floor across the basement ceiling to the other end of the basement and up back into the main floor home office area. Only thing is, I’m sort of near this area where there’s an electric outlet but it’s the only area I can drill through.

The wall is normally the width of two cinderblock layers, but this one spot I want to drill through is only one cinderblock so it’s a lot easier to get through, but I’m just concerned about this outlet. I obviously can’t see much when I look around there and at the same time, I don’t really know much about how things might look inside the wall area for power supply to the outlet.

I put a red X here in the photo of where I wanna drill into the wall from the basement side and in the home office area, I have a photo here where I drew a red grid to illustrate the approximate area where I think it would pop out from through the other side of the basement wall into the home office area on the main floor.

Additionally, you can see in the basement photos where the round vent goes across the ceiling to the wall and then you can see where that round vent comes out in the Office area on the far left, just to give you an idea of where things are. I also tried to draw a crude illustration of how this would look and included that image in the post with the basement in green and the main floor in blue and the red line representing the ethernet cable.

Just thought I would get some other opinions on this before I proceed. Thanks to anyone who has any insight or advice on this.

I’ve been dying to get this kind of hybrid AWD green maverick since last year, and it finally happened over the weekend. Couldn’t be happier with it!
