Been skating a bit under a year and this has been a goal for at least 6 months. 3 hours of literal blood, sweat, and tears went into getting one I was just about happy with.
It’s not perfect but my legs literally started to give up and I was forgetting how to kickflip 😆

The heat lately has demotivated me from trying to learn much of anything new - just practicing what I know. Trying to do tricks over something really is a different animal!
I got my first ollie over what is essentially a 6-stair, but it looks weird to me - as if my board levels out super late in the air. This applies even to small stairs/gaps so I don’t think it’s just me being uncomfortable.
I want to be able to level them out better or even bone them but the first clip is the best outcome I can get (I usually just land on the nose and fly off). I can only take so many slams like that, so if anyone can help me identify exactly what I need to try differently it’d help a lot!
Really though, 94 degrees with 60-70% humidity is damn near unskateable! I have no motivation to learn new tricks in this weather so I practiced some oldies.
Saved these from my last car and decided to try them out to save some money. The driver’s seat is close enough, and the rest fit perfectly.

Sadly this felt a lot cooler than it looks… it’s about the size of a 4 or 5 set but with a curb before the gap.
I did still do it twice after bailing for the angles 👍🏻
