IT guy here in need of a solution for a conference room issue

So keep it short back in 2016 contractors installed a 50 foot long HDMI from a wall plate to a floor box where end users at the table would hook up their laptops to the HDMI port on the floor box. Lately we’ve been having issues with flickering and getting our TV to pick up any signal at all. After doing research, it seems like the solution would be to run a cat6 cable instead and get an HDbaseT device to convert that signal to/from HDMI on both ends. Also seems like I would have to punch down keystones on both ends of the CAT6 as well, because my manager wants to keep the wall plate and floorbox in place. So we would run patch cables from those to the reciver/tramitter then from those to HDMI. Is this a good idea? I am also reading about better HDMI cords as well (fiber optic) but have read those can fail and HDbaseT may be more reliable. A local AV company quoted me 1000$ for a cat6 install but if its as “simple” as I am reading, I think we could do it ourselves. Would like feedback from you gurus, thanks! We are a small company so thats why we (upper management) is looking for DIY solutions.

Wanting to buy a DSi XL and have a few questions

Hey all, as the titles says I have a few questions

Price: I have read some threads and watched a few videos (most from 6+ months ago) where people are paying no more than 100$ for these systems. However on ebay I dont really see any under 100 or even 120 that arent super scratched or have other issues I rather not deal with. Its not surprising that prices have increased to some regard but I was wondering if I am just not filtering right while looking on ebay or marketplace. I dont think 120 for a nice condition one is too bad myself if thats the norm now but still, any tips? (Besides yard sale hunting im not doing that)

Condition: Most DSis for sale have scratches on the shell which just seems to be the nature of the material being easily scratched, but I wanted to know if cosmetic flaws are just something to accept for the most part.

Screen yellowing: I hear all the time that Japanese models have yellowing from humidity but lately have read that you can reverse this by leaving it on a bright white screen for a long time. Has anyone had success with this? There is a nice looking model I have my eyes on but one screen has a bit of yellowing on it. If this is truly reversible that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Is 140$ for 40lbs of lego a fair price? Not familiar with buying in bulk.

Hey everyone, I’m looking for a bulk purchase of used Lego off of Facebook marketplace for my son and I’m not used to the going rate and I’m not familiar with the rarity of certain pieces. Supposedly this lot is over 40 pounds but I’m not sure if $140 is a fair price or not thanks.

Youth Sports Fall Programs?

For the parents out there, do you have any recommendations for a youth soccer, basketball, or other sports programs for this fall? I have my kid on a waitlist for parks and rec soccer but really want to secure him a spot in something for this coming fall. I really dont care what it is ultimately. I could go through the Y I suppose. I really dont want to fund these programs that promise to make your kid an allstar and charge an exorbitant amount. Screw those places. I want my kid to pick up skill and have fun without any pressure.

If anyone knows anything actually in charlotte (not pineville, matthews, ect.) that would be great!
