The lyrics say something adjacent to “the only time you see me is when you’re looking at me sideways.” I don’t even remember the tune. I feel like it’s maybe by someone like Childish Gambino or Kanye just because of the music taste my friend (now enemy) had. Google is no help, I can’t ask her, but I’m losing my mind. Please help

Fly looking thing found in house

Virginia, US. My friend found this thing in their kitchen and we can’t find anything about it. Google thinks it’s a no-see-um but it was about the length of a fingernail (I know that’s subjective but it’s the best I got). I don’t think they’ve seen any more though

ETA: there’s a 2024 Facebook post where someone asked what it is and the answer was just “maybe somewhere in the Pyrgotidae family”

I know there isn’t a miracle cure all but this is getting ridiculous

I didn’t know what TW to pick so I picked substance abuse because of pill mentions.

I’M NOT ANTI-MEDICINE BY ANY MEANS. I’m just physically and mentally unwell and drowning. I’m tired of every new symptom needing a new script. We increase a dosage, I get nightmares, she wants to add another pill for nightmares. Why can’t we just find something else? I need someone to invent ANYTHING that just makes me feel Normal™️ and I’m constantly worried like what if something happens and I can’t get them? I’m on too many, that’ll wreck my entire body.
