It’s Not About Jantar Mantar or Jharkhand. It’s About the Youth. It’s About the Nation

Whether it’s Jantar Mantar or the Jharkhand protests I love dissent. Dissent, or asahmati, isn’t politically biased. It’s about demanding basic fairness, accountability, and the right to be heard.

And looking at these protests, it genuinely feels like the youth of this country is still alive. Dinkar ji perhaps wrote these lines for a day like this:

सदियों की ठण्डी-बुझी राख सुगबुगा उठी,

मिट्टी सोने का ताज पहन इठलाती है;

दो राह, समय के रथ का घर्घर-नाद सुनो,

सिंहासन खाली करो कि जनता आती है ।

And if you’re one of those people standing on the streets, or doing anything in your capacity to spread awareness about these protests you love your country
