I fear these two have ruined every other pairing for me. How will I ever watch television again? 😭
They genuinely had me squealing, kicking my feet, screaming into my pillow. Once-in-a-generation pairing. 😩🤌🏻✨️

It's kinda surreal and heavy that two decades just flew by. It's also sad that we don't get such a banger album these days.
Alright, let's have some fun.
Here's today's curveball:
Which fandom is less about appreciating their favorite and more about convincing everyone else that no other actor deserves appreciation?
Wrong answers only.
Just finished watching the first episode, and my first thought was that I wish the lead roles had gone to stronger actors. Dure didn't really convince me as someone who was supposed to be fluent in English, and even her Urdu delivery felt off at times. The same goes for Nameer, I found his performance pretty underwhelming. Their scenes together were repetitive, lacked spark, and honestly felt boring.
The only character that genuinely intrigued me was Sheheryar's. I do think his performance could've been better, but his character has enough mystery and scope to make me want to see where his story goes.
Overall, it was a pretty FLAT premiere, given the build-up and hype its teasers had created.

What are y'all expectations from this?
The composition, the vocals, the lyrics. Everything comes together so effortlessly. 😩🤌🏻✨️
Materialists was such a refreshing watch. Smart, emotionally layered, and full of conversations that stayed with me long after it ended.
It made me think about love, ambition, and what truly matters in relationships in a way that felt honest.
This fit completely lost the plot 💀 The tights killed the vibe and turned the ruffles into a shapeless blob, that wrinkly top looks so sloppy and unpleasing.
Plus, this styling completely works against her body type. Disastrous.

So I dropped this show initially, but after seeing all the hype, I gave it another shot and ended up binge watching it.
Maybe it's just me, but I genuinely don't get the hype. It's just one long misery fest. Every episode is Anas and Ansa suffering while everyone around them keeps getting away with treating them horribly. It's just misery, injustice, and more misery.
At this point, I'm expecting the same old ending, too. The oppressors will apologize in the last episode. Everyone will magically forgive them, and suddenly, they'll all be one big happy family like nothing ever happened.
Unless you enjoy watching endless suffering, I don't think this show is everyone's cup of tea.

Umer and Sofia will be missed. I do wish they'd given us at least a scene or two of them in the finale, but anyway. The symbolism, especially Sameer stepping on the pink shirt, seemed to hint that Umer and Sophia ended up together while Sameer and Sophia went their separate ways.
Overall, it was a good watch. The long gap between episodes made me lose the connection a bit, but the show still felt fresh and different. Sajal and Wahaj had surprisingly good chemistry, and I hope to see them together again in a bigger project because they definitely have potential.
Miranda is literally THAT girl, Andy's glow-up was elite, and the fashion? Served every single frame.
Lowkey obsessed, highkey iconic. 10/10, no notes. They both understood the assignment.
Can this guy be trusted? He's been right about quite a few things lately, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up. What do you all think? Is it finally happening?
The kind of love we all secretly crave 🥺🤍
