my tmj is flaring up like ive never seen, my jaw is incredibly swollen, it hurts to eat, it hurts to talk. i know botox is an option and if deemed medically necessary insurance will cover it.
im assuming i need to go to a pcp or a dentist but im not sure which one and in which order. does anyone know what the process looks like?
it’s one thing if your running for your life, but in private they always chose to just, fall over. it just looks painful and annoying. why not just sit down when you can. not a single time in all 3 season of h20 or mako mermaids did they just sit down. just chose to eat dirt

i didnt even realize i was doing it. i didnt even know i Had a mole on my scalp, it didnt hurt but all of a sudden i have blood on my fingers and my friend is freaking out (it’s unfortunately not the first time ive picked a mole off without realizing it) but ive never done it on my scalp!
i need to wash my hair, its part of the reason i was picking at my scalp. so anyone know how long i have to wait?
we noticed my cat (M.7y) had a strange lump on his backside in late february. we made a vet apt but the mass was to bony to get a proper biopsy so they tried a fine needle aspirate but didnt get enough cells.
i was finally able to get an apt with a vet oncologist last week and by this point the mass has probably tripled in size.
these were the options we were given. CT scan and medical biopsy and everything that comes with it will be around $5300. thats just the formal diagnosis. next would be radiation and ive heard heavily mixed stories about radiation with their pets.
the other option is we wait for the sarcoma to rupture and eventually euthanize. my cat is dead probably by the end of summer.
my initial instinct was to fork over $5300 and deal with the credit card debt (the company i worked for went out of business last month so i cant even apply for carecredit)
i need to hear from others what their experience was. i need to make my decision asap.
i cried for at least 12 consecutive hours and im at a loss for what to do. he’s the first and only pet i’ve ever had, i found him abandoned in the woods at 5 weeks when i was 19 and we’ve been through everything together.
i just dont want him to be in pain
