20M noticing balding at the front of head

I grew out my hair between Dec 2025- June 2026. I usually have short to medium hair and so when I cut my hair after the 6 month period, it looked normal at the front. However, as my hair started to grow back, I noticed that there was thinning at the front of my head, where the scalp is noticeable if I’m in a setting with high light. The front of my hair feels thin, however I usually have thick and dense hair in that spot.

From the picture, is it a sign of regular balding or is it telogen effluvium? And how could I grow back this area without using all these chemicals? I’ve been using natural coconut oil for density but I want to know how well it actually works.

Working 2 on-campus jobs

I have a ta and ca job this semester and I was wondering how feasible it would be to work both jobs. The ta job has a max weekly requirement of 10 hours while the ca job is 20. How would I be able to work this out, and is there a weekly student limit for hours worked?

umd esports management system

hey yall! I've been building Maxime, a platform for esports teams management/recruitment. It basically combines redundant functions of Discord + Google Sheets in one place. This platform is for both managers running rosters and players trying to get noticed.

what it does:

  • roster management — players, roles, availability, eligibility all in one spot
  • recruitment/scouting — run tryouts through maxime instead of google forms. candidates fill out a profile, you filter/evaluate instead of sorting through spreadsheet chaos
  • player profiles — rank, role, stats — managers can evaluate fit at a glance
  • sponsorship tracker — keep track of sponsors/partnerships
  • coming soon — discord bot, scrim finder, ai vod reviews

managers set up their team and send candidates a join link, while players are able to scout esports teams they want to join.

I'm looking for a few teams to test it out. If you run a team, I'd love to connect and help onboard some of your players who are trying out or who are already on your team. It takes 10 minutes, and it'll help me understand any issues with the platform.

if you're interested or know someone who runs a team, drop a comment or DM me, Cheers!
