In 2024 Bluesound stated they were still investigating. They have been investigating for 5yrs then. So after 7 years now, no update.

I have all the Bluesound hardware to satisfy both home cinema use and music playback in a small apartment living room. But I have to remove fixed home cinema or stereo pair groups and re-pair a subwoofer every frickin’ time. That’s not acceptable when a simple code change would allow us to create as many combinations of the speakers we use - and a way to switch between them.

Bluesound claim that speaker groups are virtual. If they are, why can’t they coexist and only one being active at a time?

Maybe it’s time Bluesound embraced AI assisted development to increase their software development velocity…

The answer is probably no, but I still want to put it out there.

I’m running a Soundbar+ with Sub+.

I’ve recently added 2 Pulse Flex 1st gen as rears. I’ve created a fixed home cinema group. And they work well for that.

I’d also like a separate setup where they play music with the sub, but without the soundbar.

Is there any way to achieve that?

We need more mods. In fact, we needed more mods for a long time, but yours truly was too busy to find the time to do so. I started out as mod 2. A few months ago someone contacted me to let me know that the original mod was banned from Reddit and so I’m the only mod right now, helped by 2 mod bots. Roger Roger.

For a 95k+ community, this is unrealistic. So we need a team, preferably across multiple time zones.

Right now, the primary goal is to find 2-3 experienced mods. Because frankly I’m not experienced enough in Reddit’s mod backend and its options to train anyone.

Once we have those onboard, we can add a few more for global coverage and diversity.

One thing is absolutely non-negotiable. Whoever becomes a mod has to share the anti-racing, hunting and breeding stance of the sub.

Ordered a 2026 62cm Pro in Oat Grey yesterday from the official Cube webshop. I'm 196cm with a 92cm inseam. So it should fit fine.

I'm riding Vanmoofs for the past 8 years (S1 in 2018, S3 in 2021), alongside an Urban Arrow Cargo XL for bulky stuff. So all electric. But with the S3 developing yet another issue (this time my dropping out of gears under load, not an e-shifter issue) and having to take it indoors for charging, I decided enough is enough and I like to go back to basics and just have a fast easy to live with bike that always works. As I upgraded my UA to a Gates belt drive, I also wanted one for my daily, so really happy to have found the Editor.

The fact that Cube is Bavarian is a nice bonus - especially as a Bavarian in Amsterdam, having lived abroad for 20 years now.

Anything to look out for in the first days? I heard about spokes and poorly tensioned belts already.

Last year I built this in order to enjoy the same hearing loss correction in my DAW that my AirPod Pros delivered in iOS.

Musicians and engineers are not immune to hearing loss (quite the opposite - we are a high risk group). Yes, you can wear your hearing aids in front of your monitors, but with headphones, applying correction in the DAW seems like a much better idea.

I've just updated the plugin, added Windows support and fine tuned the correction model and added a basic mode to get you started easier. Unlike a few paid alternatives, EarFix works on the basis of your audiogram - your hearing test result. No separate test in an uncalibrated environment needed.

If you like to use this across your entire system for all output, you can use Sound Source (paid) or check out Curve (free and works great for me).

Hearing loss correction should not be a business - so this is completely free and privacy-friendly (no server).

I have traced physical objects and need to export the note without any rotation or other dimensional changes. What are my options? Ideally as a vector if possible.

M, 48y, diagnosed late 2024.

I had 2-3 week+ episodes and cardiologist confirmed it. In the years leading to it, I had the occasional Apple Watch alert, but I never trusted the Gen 6 much. Got an Ultra 2 in 2023 and that painted a much clearer picture.

Massive lifestyle changes followed. Lost about 25kg, stopped drinking alcohol completely and exercised more. I feel fit and healthy now. I’m 196cm tall and wide shoulders.

I had an angiography done (functionally insignificant 50% blockage, not linked to AF. Sleep apnea tests negative. My lipid levels are very low.

After the changes I only had a handful of short episodes, a few hrs or reports of episodes 8 didn’t even notice. So AFib felt manageable and a good reason to live responsibly.

It’s incredibly hot here for the last week and I’m back in a long episode since Sunday. Temperatures are in the mid 30s Celsius and for the first time I feel out of breath and dizzy.

I’ve done some AI supported research with my own Apple Heath data and the concept of vagal AF came up. Apparently my episodes are textbook VAF based on timing (nights, weekends) and physique.

I had recurring digestive discomfort for as long as I can remember and always feel that it is linked to my migraine. So I’m reading the reports of other VAF folks here and I’m having a massive moment of recognition.

Is heat a VAF trigger for others? Usually workout or sleep will help me reset, but it’s not working for me at the moment. Got a GP appointment on Monday to get another cardio referral.
