Hi! For those working as an EHS or Safety Professional in a BPO or corporate setting in the Philippines, how much are you making?

Would appreciate it if you could share your salary range, years of experience, and whether you’re onsite or hybrid.
Just trying to get an idea of the current market rate. Thanks!

Wedding Timeline Questions

Hello! Our wedding is on the last week of November. Would love to hear your timeline and experience.

1.	When did you send out your invites and open your RSVP?
2.	When was your RSVP deadline? (For example, if your wedding was on Nov. 28.)
3.	When did you schedule your prenup shoot?
4.	Did you give your principal sponsors (ninongs/ninangs) a token when you asked them? If yes, did you still give them a gift on the wedding day?

Thank you! 🤍

I’m not sure if I still have a place in this friendship

I’m getting married later this year, and this situation has been weighing on me more than I’d like to admit.

I have two friends who have been my best friends since college. We were part of the same circle, and for years, I considered them some of my closest friends.
Friend 1 moved abroad last year while Friend 2 and I still work together, although we’re in different teams. Over time, both friendships gradually changed. Friend 1 became increasingly unresponsive while Friend 2 and I barely talked outside of work.

What started to hurt was seeing them continue to spend time together and with other coworkers while I was no longer included. Friend 1 came home twice without me knowing and I only found out through soc med or other people. I know I wasn’t entitled to an invitation but it still hurt to feel like I was completely out of the picture.
I tried to act normally whenever I saw Friend 2 at work. I stopped asking about Friend 1 or what they were doing because I didn’t want to seem like I was keeping score or asking why I wasn’t included.

When I got engaged, I initially planned for both of them to be part of my bridal party. They had been important people in my life for many years. I sent Friend 1 a Save the Date, and she told me she couldn’t attend because she had other plans. I understood.
However, I later found out that she had come home again and met up with Friend 2 and other coworkers. I only found out through other people. Again, I know she wasn’t obligated to tell me or invite me, but it still hurt, especially since I had recently reached out to her about my wedding.
Friend 2 was initially unsure if she would attend my wedding because some people from our old college circle would be there and there had been conflicts within the group. Eventually, she said she would attend because it was my wedding. I appreciated that, but we barely talked after that.

Over time, I realized how much the situation was affecting me. I kept wondering what I had done wrong and why I seemed to be the only one who didn’t know about their plans.
Eventually, I decided to remove both of them from my guest list and bridal party.

Recently, I saw Friend 2 at work again and we suddenly reconnected. She became her usual affectionate and clingy self, asked about my wedding, and seemed to imply that she would be attending.
The problem is, I had already decided not to invite her.

Now I’m conflicted. Part of me feels guilty because we’ve been friends for so many years. Another part of me feels like I’ve already spent months feeling excluded and anxious about this friendship. My wedding is small and I need to be intentional about who I invite. I don’t want to invite her just because she expects to be invited or because our coworkers might also want to attend.
I also don’t want to be petty or immature. I just don’t know if I should continue making space for people who seem to have quietly moved on from me.

I guess I’m grieving the friendship I thought we still had. I’m slowly accepting that we may no longer have a place in each other’s lives.

Still on the hunt for ‘the one’

Which type of wedding gown suits my body type best? Please be kind 😭

I gained some weight over the past few months, but I’m planning to go back to the gym so I can feel and look leaner on my big day.

Here are the gowns I’ve tried on so far!

Wedding Palette Advice Needed

For those with a similar wedding palette, did you assign specific colors to your entourage and guests?

My entourage will be shouldering the cost of their own attire, so I don’t want to limit them to just these five colors and would love for them to be able to wear their outfits again.

Attached is our color palette. I’m thinking of more green than dusty blue. Any tips or advice on choosing colors or not assign it at all. Thank you! 💛

any brides here who skipped the usual wedding prep activities?

hello co-brides! 🤍

me and h2b are both introverts and i’m already in my 30s, so i get tired pretty easily. we’re hoping for a calm and relaxed wedding day, so i’m thinking of skipping the usual prep shoot and just keeping everything simple.

for those who had a more laid-back wedding, how did your day flow? was it just wake up, eat, hair and makeup, a few photos, then off to the ceremony and reception?

i’m also thinking of keeping things minimal for our entourage, so i might skip the matching robes, slippers, and other prep extras. we do have an sde included in our photo and video package, so i’m wondering if that would still work without a full prep shoot.

also, did you hire a live band or a dj for the reception? we’d love a fun atmosphere, but we’re also trying to keep everything simple and relaxed.

any tips or things you wish you knew? thank you! 🤍

Need advice on choosing my MOH

Hello, fellow brides!

Has anyone here not made their sister their MOH, or isn’t planning to?

My Ate and I have a 7-year age gap. We’re on good terms but we’re not super close or best friends. I originally wanted to make my closest friend my Matron of Honor.

My sister is already married so I was thinking of making her my Matron of Honor and having my other close friend (who’s also married) be a bridesmaid instead. At the same time, I also want to honor my sister because she’s family. She’s currently abroad but she’s planning to come home for the wedding.
Another option I’m considering is making her one of the secondary sponsors instead.

What would you do if you were in my situation? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences. 🤍

Anyone here working in the energy sector? Need advice 🙏

Hi! Anyone here working in the energy sector (power, renewables, oil & gas, utilities, etc.)?

I’m considering transitioning into this field. Most of my experience is office-based and I don’t have much site exposure yet.

For those in the industry, what companies would you recommend in terms of good company culture, compensation, and career growth? Open to hearing both pros and cons. Thank you!

Why do recruiters stop responding after interviews?

Why do some recruiters stop responding even when an applicant is only politely asking for an update after interviews?

Is this usually a sign to move on or are delays like this common?

Ang hirap pa naman maghanap ng work ngayon. Even a short acknowledgment would’ve been appreciated.

WFH with decent pay or hybrid with higher salary and better benefits?

Would you choose a mostly work from home job (once to thrice a month lang yung office) with a salary that’s enough for your current lifestyle and okay benefits,

or a higher paying job with great benefits and bonuses, but requires going to the office thrice a week?

Curious what people would prioritize more at this stage of life.

EDIT: rto once or twice a week to thrice a week

Hi! I’m planning my first Japan trip around Dec–Feb and I’ll have about 7-9 days.

I’m a big foodie and really want to experience the food and culture (also planning to vlog a bit).

I’m also into anime, Ghibli, and Makoto Shinkai films so I’m hoping for a mix of city and countryside vibes.

Currently thinking Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto… pero baka too much for a week 😅

Questions:

•	For a first timer, okay na ba 1–2 cities lang?

•	Better to start or end with Tokyo?

•	Any sample 7-day itinerary na budget-friendly but sulit (esp for food)?

•	Tips to save on food, transpo, and accommodations?

From PH so medyo kinakabahan sa winter 😂

Would appreciate any tips/reco. Thank you!
