Imagine

Let’s imagine I’m not ugly. Let’s imagine I’m not short (I’m 5'5"). Let’s imagine I’m actually interesting to talk to. Let’s even imagine I can be funny.

How do I stop being alone?

Considering I’m almost 50, where can I actually meet people? Well… women, mostly. 😅

The funny thing is, guys seem to like me quite often. Unfortunately for me, I’m into women.

MIKATA – A new free logic puzzle game for Android

Hi! I made a new logic puzzle game called MIKATA.

The goal is to divide the grid into two connected regions.

Each numbered clue looks at the surrounding 3×3 area and tells you how many cells belong to the same region as the clue itself.

The catch: you don't know which region the clue belongs to.

So you have to deduce both the shape of the regions and the meaning of each clue at the same time.

It's inspired by pencil puzzles like Yin-Yang, with a little Minesweeper-style counting, but there is no randomness and no guessing.

The game includes lots of puzzles, several difficulty levels, hints, tutorials and a daily puzzle.

It's free on Android:

[Google Play link]

I'd really appreciate any feedback, especially about the difficulty curve and whether the rules feel easy to understand.

This started as a Minesweeper variant

I wanted to make an Android pencil puzzle, mostly because I'm a big fan of Nikoli-style logic puzzles.

The basic clue idea came from Minesweeper: each number looks at the 3×3 area around it. But instead of counting mines, it tells you how many cells belong to the same region as the clue itself.

The twist is that you don't know which region the clue belongs to.

From there, it somehow turned into a Yin-Yang puzzle: the whole grid has to be split into two connected regions, with no 2×2 block entirely in one region.

So MIKATA is basically the illegitimate child of Minesweeper and Yin-Yang.

My first Idea was two type of clues, one for mines and one for diamonds, it was very bad.

The game is available on Android now, and I'd like to see what people from this sub think of it, since the idea started with minesweeper.

Mikata — an original (I hope) two-region logic puzzle I designed

Hey! I’ve been messing around with a new puzzle type called Mikata (Yin-Yang variation), and I’d love to get some feedback from people here.

The basic idea is pretty simple:divide the grid into two connected regions, with the usual Yin-Yang-style restriction that no 2×2 area can be entirely in the same region.

The numbered clues are the twist: each number tells you how many cells in its surrounding 3×3 area, including itself, are in the same region as the clue.

But you’re not told which colour the clue is.

So a 6, for example, just means “6 of these 9 cells are on my side”, and part of the solve is figuring out which side that actually is.

After playing around with the rules for a while, I started finding lots of little patterns and deductions that avoid having to guess, and that’s basically what convinced me there might be an actual puzzle genre hiding in there 😄

I’ve made a puzzle to test the concept, so I’d be really interested to know:

does the ruleset feel natural?
are the deductions satisfying?
do you ever feel like you have to bifurcate/guess?
and, more generally, do you think the concept has legs?

Rules:

• Divide the grid into two connected regions.
• No 2×2 area may be entirely in one region.
• A clue gives the number of cells in its surrounding 3×3 area that are in the same region as itself.
• The clue cell itself counts.
• Cells outside the grid are ignored.
• The clue’s colour is not given.
• The two colours are interchangeable.

I have an html page with an interface for this puzzle, but it seems to be prohibited

Feel free to be brutal — I’m mainly trying to figure out whether this is genuinely interesting or whether I’ve just spent too long staring at Mikata grids 😄

Could you find the code in the next try ? (easy level)

Hello puzzles people. It turns out I made a mobile game where the goal is to find a code. (not a promotion post since I don't give any way to find my game)

Since it’s been an absolutely phenomenal success — no, not at all, to be honest I have no idea, I don’t have any stats and Google seems to be broken — I figured that after spending weeks making my life difficult, I might as well make it useful somehow...

So I’m offering you the chance to solve one of the game’s puzzles.

It should be pretty easy for you, I imagine, since you’re experts!

Access:5 — a free 5-digit code-breaking logic puzzle for Android

https://preview.redd.it/h5hm7xvxmu9h1.png?width=1024&format=png&auto=webp&s=a3e4d52b3a84fd1509d19fb05d61bb4b1615bee9

Hi everyone!

I recently released Access:5, a free Android logic puzzle game built around code-breaking and deduction.

The goal is to crack a secret 5-digit code. After each guess, the game tells you how many digits are correct and in the right position, and how many are correct but misplaced. When I first started designing it, I was mainly trying to create a simple deduction game around numeric codes and a hacker-style interface. I later realized that the core logic is very close to Mastermind, so puzzle fans of that game will probably feel at home.

Access:5 starts very approachable, but later levels become more demanding, especially when duplicate digits can appear and the hints become weaker. The game includes multiple levels, a daily puzzle, hints, digit locking to help eliminate possibilities, and a scanner mechanic that gives extra analysis on previous guesses.

I tried to keep each puzzle quick to play, while still making the deduction satisfying. I’d really appreciate feedback from people who enjoy logic puzzles:
Are the rules clear? Is the deduction interesting? Does the difficulty curve feel fair? And does it make you want to try “just one more puzzle”?

Description:
Access:5 is a free logic puzzle game where you have to crack a secret 5-digit code using deduction. After each attempt, the game tells you how many digits are correct and well placed, and how many are correct but in the wrong position. The core idea is inspired by classic code-breaking games like Mastermind, but with a modern hacker-style interface and a mobile-friendly design.

The game includes multiple difficulty levels, daily puzzles, hints, digit locking to help players eliminate possibilities, and a scanner mechanic that can analyze previous attempts. Some levels are simple and accessible, while others require much more careful reasoning, especially when duplicates become possible.

I tried to make the game quick to play, easy to understand, but still satisfying for players who enjoy logic puzzles and deduction games. I would really appreciate feedback about the clarity of the rules, difficulty balance, UI readability, and whether the game feels fun enough to keep playing.

Need 12 Android testers for 14 days — happy to test your app in return

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for 12 testers for my Android game for 14 days, as required for Google Play testing.

Like many indie developers here, I’m honestly struggling to find enough testers, so I’d be very happy to return the favor and test your app/game as well. If you need testers too, feel free to send me your link and I’ll join your test.

My game is called Access:5.

It’s a hacker-themed logic puzzle game inspired by code-breaking games like Mastermind. The goal is to find a secret 5-digit code in 10 attempts. After each guess, you get feedback about how many digits are correct and how many are in the right position. Each level also gives you hints before you start, but the hints become less helpful as the difficulty increases.

The game includes:

  • Progressive difficulty
  • Daily challenge
  • Level selection

I need testers to install the game, keep it for the 14-day testing period, and ideally try it a little if possible. Any feedback would be very welcome, but simply joining the test already helps a lot.

If you’re interested, please reply or send me a message and I’ll send you the Google Play testing link / group access.

Thanks a lot, and I’m happy to test your app in return!

Steps:

Game Title: Prism Numbers

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.AMillionToOne.prismNumbers&hl=fr

Platform: Android

Description: Prism Numbers is a colorful puzzle game where numbers and colors collide.

Swap tiles to create matches of three or more. Match identical numbers to merge them into a higher value, or match colors to clear space and build your strategy. Simple to understand, but increasingly challenging, Prism Numbers asks you to plan carefully, chase combos, and adapt to the board as it changes.

The game includes several modes, such as Objectives, Infinite, Timed, Target Number, Limited Moves, and Combo Rush, with three difficulty levels to suit different play styles. Whether you want a relaxed puzzle session or a tougher challenge, there is always a new goal to reach.

Prism Numbers is available in multiple languages and is designed, I hope, for quick, satisfying games on mobile.

Try it, test your logic, and see how high your numbers can climb!

Free to Play Status: Demo/Key available (via test)

Involvement: Hi everyone!

I’m looking for a few testers for my game (solo dev), Prism Numbers.

I’d really appreciate your feedback: what should be improved, what feels missing, what is unclear, and of course what you think already works well.

The game is currently available for testing through Google Play.
If you’d like to test it for free, please send me a private message with the Gmail address you use to log in to the Play Store. I’ll add you to the tester list and send you the link to download the game.

I’m based in Europe, so depending on your time zone, there may be a small delay before I can reply or add you.

Thank you very much to anyone willing to help!
