Other free agent tips for extra ice time and to familiarize yourself with various levels of play:

• Come by the arena and check out a game in the different divisions.
• Attend an Adult Rookie Class session on Tuesday nights. It’s a mixed level of players in the C/ D/ G range mostly.
• Attend an Adult Open Hockey session on M/W/F. That’s an A/ B/ C mix of players generally.
• Attend a Flow game which is in the C/ D/ G range.

I have played in several leagues and leagues have always offered an early bird pricing incentive for players to register early. But my current league has a price increase that hits every week until the season starts. The price increase is around $25 dollars a week. I get the one time price increase after early bird but this causes a big problem for getting new players to sign up that are just moving to the area and may be intrested.

Does anyone play in a league that does this?

• Men's Division 1: Competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey League (WCHL).
• Men's Division 2 & Division 3: Additional club tier teams.

University of Arizona (Arizona Wildcats)

• Men's Division 1

Northern Arizona University (NAU Lumberjacks)

• Men's Division 2 & Division 3: Active regional competitors in the ACHA

Grand Canyon University (GCU Lopes)

• Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3

Our established 'A' Division team is looking to add one permanent skater for the upcoming CAHL Fall/Winter season at Ice Den Scottsdale.

• Night: Monday nights exclusively.
• Position: Open to either a top-line Forward or a reliable, mobile Defenseman.
