is it worth repiercing my navel?

i pierced it in august last year, & i thought it was okay up until i just changed the jewellery & realised the placement is a bit off. should i repierce it or leave it be? could i just put a needle inside the original hole & pierce it a bit deeper at the bottom if thats understandable?

is there any way to minimise the appearance of raised or dented scars??? mine are both raised & dents, darker rhan skintone, lighter than skintone, & pink. ive got no idea how to manage getting rid of them. i am aware that it is quite literally impossible to fully get rid of them, but i am curious if there is anything that could be of help to slightly reduce the SCAR SCAR look. i am aware it is a ridiculous question. i have tried scar tape although the feeling was not nice, i have tried bio oil too, & that did not appear to have any effect at all.
