Favorite performances from Serendipity?

Curious to know how other people felt on this and wanted to share my opinion!

Favorite Individual Performance: Biboo - GHOST
Favorite Performing Unit: Bloodraven - A Cruel Angel’s Thesis
Favorite Group Performance: Justice - ABOVE BELOW
Favorite Special Guest Performance: Zeta, Shiori, CC - Break It Down

I will say I think every single performance and song was at least an 8/10 from me, everyone did such an amazing job! At first I was hesitant to spend the money on a Streaming ticket, but honestly it was so worth it and I’m definitely going to be rewatching a bunch of times.

I was most impressed by Shiori, Calli and Mio. I had never really listened to any of their music, but after Serendipity I’ve went down a huge rabbit hole and listened to so many of their songs. I’ve always thought ERB had an amazing voice, and her performances were definitely my favorite of both days. She’s really motivating me to start saving up money to be able to go wherever the concert is next year. I do think the best part of the concert was the fact that there was clearly so much care and effort put into every group, song selection, etc. that I would bet money that every act was at least someone’s favorite. I watched with my friend who has never seen anything related to Hololive and he’s already talking about getting into their music and going to the concert next year. What an awesome thing that is!

I'm not crying you're crying...

This has got to be the most emotional opener to a game I've played in my entire life. Seeing Okabe change and try to move past things since the end of SG is so depressing. I'm two chapters into 0 and I absolutely love it so far. I know that the true ending is going to relate in some way to the "Open The Steins Gate" ending of SG, so it will probably have a good ending, but this doesn't stop me from getting so emotional over these interactions.

Ranking every game I've played in 2026

This is NOT AT ALL OBJECTIVE. Many of the lower ranked games I think definitely are way better made than the higher ranked, this is just my personal enjoyment of everything I have played in the first half of the year. Honestly the most surprising here is Dispatch. I've played more games in the first half of this year than I have in any year, and Dispatch still remains in the top 10. I haven't played a Telltale game like it and I don't think I ever will again. My two biggest upsets of the year were Terraria and Pokemon Conquest. These were both replays, and I think they just lost their charm for me since my original playthrough. Especially Terraria which is objectively an AMAZING game, it really surprised me.

List

Recommend me the game with the craziest final boss fight ever

I just finished P3 Portable's FeMC route and just re-experienced the most peak final boss fight ever. With P3 Reload being my favorite game of all time, and the final boss of game being the most epic boss battle ever, I'm really looking for another game to scratch that itch. Bonus points if the game has a good OST, I had "Battle For Everyone's Souls" literally at max volume blasting through my headphones the entire time. I play on Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. I love JRPGs, but even non-JRPG recommendations would be cool too.

Forgot to mention, I also really love the final boss of FF7R, but he's my favorite final boss, not boss fight. If anyone has any recommendations that have someone with this much aura, as well as an engaging fight, that would be cool.

Thanks everyone!

Just finished Persona 3 Portable on my quest to play every Atlus game available on Steam! While Reload is still my favorite game of all time, I loved every minute of my 49 hours of playtime, and would recommend to any P3 fans! Check out my review!

Looking for any words of wisdom during this application period

Posted this on r/premed awhile ago, but wanted to see if anyone here had more specific advice to the MD-PhD application

I seriously need some advice. Yeah sure this is probably just me being neurotic, but I really have no idea what to do and I hope maybe someone that’s been here before has some guidance.

I can’t stop thinking about what’ll happen if I don’t get in. It weighs on me every second of every day. Somehow every fun thing or conversation triggers an association back to the application and stresses me out. I’ve been spending every night in bed since before I submitted just sobbing. I have no confidence that anyone will like me or my application. I have no confidence that the thousands of hours of studying, devoting my existence to science and getting to this point will amount to anything. I haven’t submitted secondaries (or even started pre-writing), but I’m already feeling so drained. I want to get in more than I’ve ever wanted something in my whole life, and I’ve never worked like this at anything else. People see my stats and ECs and think I’m golden, but I can’t stop seeing my application as completely worthless.

This is probably beyond the pay grade of this subreddit, but if anyone has had similar thoughts and have made it through, I’d really appreciate some encouragement or strategies to stop these spirals. Thanks everyone

Can someone help me find a JRPG to play?

https://bckl.gg/qEwK - My backloggd profile, all the games I own are there and I'm looking to play something from the backlog.

I've hit kind of a rough patch and looking for something really good to help pick me up. I've been enjoying a weird mix of chill, relaxing games (typically not JRPG) and super epic games with amazing stories, soundtracks, etc. Open to playing anything since I already bought all the games, just having trouble narrowing down what to play.

All of these are on Steam, and my favorite games I've already played are listed on my profile

What are my chances of acceptance to MD/MD-PhD?

Can someone unironically chance me for MD/MD-PhD?

This isn't a troll post, I'm just genuinely neurotic and rethinking my life choices with primaries due in a few days.

**Grades:**
cGPA and sGPA are both 4.0
MCAT: 526, 132/130/132/132

**Demographics:**
NY Resident
ORM, White/Asian mixed
Undergraduate at UNC, currently a rising senior (I'm 20 y/o)

**All Activities:**
*Clinical*
300 Hours - Volunteering on the Nursing Unit, patient-facing and lots of patient experiences for essays, etc.
100 Hours - Shadowing in Hemepath, Surgical path and GI

*Research*
800 Hours - Research at the US EPA. Manuscript in progress (delays due to government issues). Published 2nd author in a textbook section written in this lab.
400 Hours - Bioinformatics summer internship.
500 Hours - Research in a lab at UNC. Presented at an international conference.
250 Hours - Research at Hospital. Manuscript in progress.

200 Hours - Volunteering in community outreach to middle school kids in the community, bridging the gap to higher education
100 Hours - Math Club
100 Hours - eSports Club

I also won a $4000 scholarship from the Chemistry department at my school.

**School List:**
Albany
Albert Einstein
Baylor
Columbia
Hofstra
Duke
Emory
Harvard
Icahn
Mayo
NYU
NYU LI
Stony Brook
Downstate
Upstate
USF
UChicago
UMiami
UNC
Rochester
UVA
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest
Cornell
Yale

All schools that have MD-PhD on that list I am applying to as MD-PhD. I want to stay at around 25 schools, so let me know if anyone has recommendations for additions/removals. Any advice with my application would be appreciated, thank you!

I have 5 LoRs. My PI that I started working with in high school, my current PI (who is an MD), two science professors where I was a learning assistant for their class, and my employer for the leadership position.

**Note:** I would say I have pretty close ties to UNC SoM, it's my current institution and I have spent a lot of time networking with people on the ADCOM for MD-PhD as well as current students

Can I count research hours from high school?

Hi all, upcoming applicant here. I had a question about research hours from high school. I know typically people say your hours start from when undergrad begins, but I think I have a bit of a different circumstance. I’ve been working with a PI since freshman year of high school (the last 6 years) and have done ~1000 hours of work with him. Only about 300-400 of them happened during undergrad, but I feel like just writing 300 hours doesn’t represent the volume of work I’ve done on these projects. During high school I published two first author papers with this, and right now I have two more papers in pre-print (first author) and a poster at an international conference. This is one of my most significant research experiences and my longest lasting professional relationship, and I think just writing 300 hours doesn’t represent the volume and magnitude of work I contributed to. Any advice? Thanks
