I’m participating in JAC Delhi counselling and I’m expecting to get **DTU Software Engineering** in Round 3.

My current preference order is:

1. NSUT CSDS

2. DTU IT

3. DTU SE

The issue is that I can’t change my preference order now. Initially I had placed NSUT CSDS above DTU IT, but now I feel I would rather continue with **DTU itself** because of campus life, exposure, clubs, overall college environment, and the fact that I’m more inclined towards DTU now.

If I get DTU SE and choose float, there is a decent chance I may get upgraded to DTU IT, but since NSUT CSDS is above DTU IT in my list, I might also get NSUT CSDS instead. I’m not sure if that risk is worth taking.

So my dilemma is:

Should I **freeze DTU SE** if I’m sure I want DTU?

Or should I **float** and take the risk for DTU IT, even though I might end up with NSUT CSDS?

Is there anything I can do to remove csds vala option ?

Bcz rhe curriculum at nsut it quite rigorous with the placement stats declining over the years ....

Is it worth leaving cse-ai to continue with IT ... ??

Even the cutoff for tech branches at DTU is more than that at nsut ....

Seniors can u pls suggest for pg for igdtuw .... Mere clg hostel milne ke kafi kam chances hai toh aas pas konse pg hai , jaha igdtuw ki baache mil jaye ...

They told kamla nagar , civilines , laxminagar , gtb vagerh me aache hai

Pls tell names of some pgs jaha ache proper facilities ho , ache khasi accomodation ho , clg ke paas ho and igdtuw girls 5-6 ka kuch grp type mil jaye vaha ....

Koi iss year join karega toh plss tell what pgs are u considering and seniors pls tell aap log konse pg vagerh me ho..

Wanna know does hostels have ac in common room or somewhere else

I don't expect rooms to have ac , so how do y'all manage without it ?

And does the hostel provide laundry facilities or just washing machines are installed and you have to do the rest yourself ?

Can easily get ece in nsut and maybe in DTU too . With cse core and ai both in igdtuw

Wanna know what are the stats for placement of ece in DTU .

Like salary what can be expected by -

core ece offers

offers from consulting roles

Offers from tech roles for ece students

And how hard is it to manage coding along with labs and all , is it worth it ?

If I get ece in DTU is it a better option ? Bcz it closes at 28 k something and nsut is 32 k .

Or should I compromise on my clg experience , infrastructure , hostel and all to choose igdtuw ??

At the end I just wish to be placed at a good company with good package but also enjoy my time in clg and make memories .

Got girls quota + delhi quota

Can easily get ece in nsut and maybe in DTU too . With cse core and ai both in igdtuw

Wanna know what are the stats for placement of ece in nsut .

Offers from tech roles for ece students

And how hard is it to manage coding along with labs and all , is it worth it ?

At this rank I can easily get cse core or specialisation at igdtuw.

Along with ece at DTU , and maybe cse at DTU (if luck favours)

But I am confused about what i should pick , I really wanna have a good campus life , explore my life , my interest, make a lot of new friends , and soo many good memories with them .

But but , as the time i am equally ambitious about a freaking good package , a good job , and a stable offer . Don't wanna be regretting in my 20's abt being broke.

Now the dilemma is what should I choose , should it be ece as DTU , or cse at igdtuw !!

Ece is definitely making it place due to semiconductor and all , but maybe cse can be better in terms of package , or possible ece can take over cse by the time i graduate...

And I heard igdtuw provides better placement opportunity than DTU comparing the avg packages as 26 and 20 lpa , no doubt skills are the final Boss .

So seniors what do you think will be the best choice !! Any opinion will be helpful
