THE WORST EXPERIENCE

The worst online shopping experience I’ve had.
My order was delivered by Uber, and the packaging was unbelievably bad. Honestly, a 3-year-old could have packed it better. The items arrived dirty, unorganized, and with virtually no protection, making it obvious that no care was taken when preparing the order.
Even the manager at my nearest GameStop store was surprised by the condition the order arrived in.
I returned the item through FedEx on June 22, and GameStop confirmed they received it on June 26. Since then, I’ve been ignored for days at a time. I reached out to customer service on June 30 and didn’t receive a response until July 3, only to be told they were “following up with the internal team.” Meanwhile, weeks have passed, and I’m still waiting for my refund.
It’s unacceptable that a company can send out orders in this condition, make customers go through the hassle of returning them, then hold onto their money for weeks after receiving the return. At this point, if my refund isn’t processed immediately, I’ll be filing a chargeback with my bank.
I won’t be shopping with GameStop again, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else do so either.

Two hours for a 3 mile delivery.

I’m so frustrated with UberEats right now. I ordered food from a place only 2.9 miles away, and I’ve been waiting almost two hours because the driver is on a bike. I’m not upset at the driver at all—they’re just doing their job—but I’m really annoyed at UberEats. It makes no sense for them to assign a bike for a trip that long. After a long day at work, I just wanted to eat something hot and relax, but instead, I’m just sitting here hungry and waiting. It’s super annoying that their system thinks this is okay.
AND THE ETA KEEPS CHANGING

Update: The driver came in a car:) different person too. Wanted extra tip

Thoughts on 25east??

Does anyone have any experience with 25east? I’m planning to move there in the fall. It is the cheapest option I found, but I wanted as many opinions as I could get.
Also, if you have any other recommendations let me know please.
Thank you so much!

Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking for off-campus housing that’s affordable and decent. I’m going into my junior year and really need something reliable and not ridiculously overpriced.

PLEASE do not suggest DTN. I’ve had a terrible experience with them and I genuinely don’t want to deal with them again.

I’m open to:

Apartments

Houses

Roommates (if it’s a good fit)

Ideally something reasonably close to campus, safe, and not falling apart lol.

If you’ve had a good experience with a landlord/company or know of any available places, please let me know
