Parents imagining that I have an ED

I (19F, nearly 20) have been chubby most of my teenage life. Not fat but I was either slightly over a healthy BMI or at the very top of healthy range. Between the ages of 18-19 my hormones calmed down a lot and I have a much smaller appetite now, on top of starting to work out to build muscle and getting a job that requires a lot of heavy lifting. Because I'm more active I've been adding more protein and veg to my diet.

For context, even when I was barely overweight it did NOT look good on me, like I looked a lot fatter than I medically was. Now that I'm at a lower weight (still comforting in the healthy range and with more muscle) I don't look that skinny I just look good and healthy. I went from 5'3 and 65kg to 5'4 and about 56kg over the course of about 4 years.

However, since the last 2 kilos came off this year, my parents keep making comments about how I'm "wasting away" and phoning me to make sure I'm eating well when we're apart. They genuinely act like I have an eating disorder when I can't finish one of their massive portions or don't feel like dessert.

Does anyone know the logic behind this because I eat well and don't look too thin by any means? I'm also going to add that my mother has gained a fair bit of weight in the same timeframe I've lost it that could be related

I'm the only non-picky eater in my family and it's driving me crazy

I (19F) live with my older brother and my parents. The two boys are very picky eaters, will not touch vegetables and mainly eat chicken, chips (fries) and Italian food. My mum isn't picky but she basically can't eat most fibres due to stomach issues. As a result the only things they cook are extremely carb-heavy and lack vegetables and protein. (We can afford meat but they act like having more than half a chicken breast each is only for royalty)

The issue is I feel very ill after eating the carb heavy meals they make and I genuinely love vegetables and beans and chickpeas. I'm not shaming their habits but having them forced in me is literally making me feel sick. We also have the rule of having to eat as a family so it's hard to make my own meals with the kitchen space. Any advice on how to handle this?

Overdramatic parents commenting on weight loss

I (19F) have lost 7-8kgs over the course of the past year. This is mostly because I went from being very sedentary to walking more, working a job where I'm on my feet all day and doing heavy lifting, as well as my hormones being a lot healthier after finishing puberty so my appetite isn't crazy high anymore.

As it's starting to get warm again you can actually see that I've lost weight cause I'm not wearing a bunch of layers and my mum finally noticed it. She got emotional and started saying how worried she is and that she doesn't want me wasting away. For context I went from a UK size 10/12 to an 8 in about 10 months. Both my parents are very anti-weight loss unless you're very overweight, especially when it comes to me and my siblings. Every time I go on a trip they give me a speech about how I need to eat enough so I don't come back all skinny, despite me very much being a food lover. Has anyone dealt with this nonsense and do you have advice 😭
