with that being said, something’s about me: I work two jobs; an office job and i’m a home health aide. I will be attending college this fall for business administration. I am 18 years old and technically i’m from a bit outside of ocala, but ocala is the closest place to me that has anything to do at all so that’s why i’m looking here. I want to make friends and meet people, but social activities for young ppl are already hard to find, but in addition to that, my hobbies don’t make it any easier it seems. hello! my name is dev and i’m 18f from florida and like just about everybody im desperate for work atp. i’ve had jobs before but i was let go both times because they were either temp positions or my position was deemed “no longer needed”. I live in a small area in Florida (citrus county) where there isn’t a lot of work available, mainly due to the amount of people moving here which means everyone is fighting over the smallest positions available. currently, i just side hustle around like instacart and what not to just barely make ends meet. i’m lucky enough to live with my family rn so my expenses aren’t too crazy but soon that will change and i will be on my own. I’m currently working on enrolling in University of Florida online as a mathematics major which will luckily for me be covered by a pell grant, so student expenses are covered, but i still need to eat, pay car insurance, gas, and soon rent and whatever else. Anyway, i’m not here to give a sob story but rather some context to my situation. now with all of that being said, what can i do? if anything? i feel so lost and i don’t have anyone in my life that can help me. a lot of people seem to have connections or people to guide them but i dont. any help is appreciated, thank you for taking time to read all this.
