HAL HF-24 Marut
I came across this when researching about the HAL Tejas and it looked quite interesting, so I made it into a paper airplane.
It flies quite well indoors and it has a noticeable angle of attack as well.

u/Total-Platform6132 commented on one of my other posts with a three-view image of the “Yak-35.” However, the top right of the image had russian text that included the designation “M-56”
I googled that designation and discovered that the design is actually the M-56. Nevertheless, I decided to go ahead with it as it looked interesting.
This design is not meant to be hand-launched at all, It is meant to be catapulted high up. Testing it indoors, it glides quite well.
I actually have quite a large backlog of templates that I haven’t built yet such as a de Havilland Comet and the HF-24 Marut, so I’m actually going to focus on those rather than designing new ones.
One of my friends at school sent me a three-view image of this plane and challenged me to design it.
I decided to take on the challenge and researched a bit on the plane. It’s a concept for a hypersonic airliner, so I made it able to fly fast. I decided not to model the engines as it would make the plane even more fragile than it already is. I gave it many layers, especially for the canard up front. Lastly, I gave it a small launching hook so I could send it up into the sky.
Overall this is one of my strangest designs but it looks quite cool!
>!(I designed the flyable model myself)!<
im gonna make nagase livery from ace combat ah for it next
It’s been months since I designed an airliner, so I decided to go back to it by making the largest one, the A380.
This one wasn’t that hard to design except for the wingtip fences. Those are really tiny but I still decided to add them so it would be accurate to the real thing. It flies quite well as well!
If you want this template or the templates to any other planes of mine, just DM me
I made my original Mirage III quite some time ago, but I didn’t really like the performance. The throw tab caused some stability issues and it just looked quite inaccurate.
So I decided to make the Mirage 2000 as a little bit of a remaster. I know that the design isn’t exactly the same but it is similar. I added a launching hook and chose to not add a throw tab as I can throw it by holding the back part.
It flies nicely indoors but I haven’t tested it in a large area yet.
I wanted to make a simple and small fighter for mostly indoor use, and came across the HAL Tejas. It’s an Indian light multirole fighter and the smallest supersonic fighter of its generation.
So I decided to make it into a paper airplane as my first Indian design. For the first time, I added the option to have working leading-edge slats, although it isn’t in this photo. It works the same way as my A-4, by cutting on some extra lines.
Indoors, it flies really fast, however I added a hook in case you want to fly it outdoors.
If you want this template, please DM me.
After making the L-39 Albatros, I wanted to make its predecessor, the Delfin. It’s a really simple design with straight wings and a T-tail.
It was quite easy to design, and it flies really well indoors! It is very consistent and didn’t need a lot of adjustments after building it. I haven’t tested it outside yet but I’m planning to do so.
Around a year ago, someone said that I should create the F-106. I was focused on my Mirage III though and didn’t want to spend more time making a very similar plane.
However, I did more research on it recently and found out it was way different. It had a drastically different configuration and purpose. So I decided to make one today.
This is also the first time I added drop tanks onto a paper airplane, as in real life they were basically a permanent fixture on the Delta Dart. When flying it, I needed to bend the back of the wings a lot to keep it stable. Despite this, it flies quite well as a dart.
I have many other planes that I designed but haven’t actually built yet, so I’ll be making those soon.
It’s been way too long since I made a trainer aircraft, and I decided to finally give a try with creating one. I settled on the L-39 as it saw widespread use around the world.
The hardest part of making this was actually the camo. I couldn’t find a 3-view drawing of a Czech L-39 camo. I had to find an image of the similar Soviet camo and alter the colors and pattern based on a picture of a Czech L-39 that I found online.
I tested it with a rubber band and it flies really well. It has a graceful glide, but it is quite prone to losing control if it hits the ceiling. I’m thinking of making more trainers in the future as they seem to consistently fly well.
I’m a huge fan of the Ace Combat series of games and Ace Combat 4 was the fifth game I finished. In that game, Yellow Squadron is one of the main ace squadrons you encounter throughout the campaign.
>!They were notorious for being highly skilled, easily shooting down ISAF planes to the point that engagements with them were strictly prohibited. However, in the end, Mobius One, the main character, manages to shoot them down in one of the last battles of the war.!<(spoiler for Ace Combat 4)
After making other Ace Combat character’s planes, I decided to go for Yellow Squadron’s SU-37. The camouflage was quite hard to design, but it ended up being worth it as this plane looks really good and flies great!
A year ago, I made my original F-5 model. However, I think its flight profile isn’t very good. It’s very heavy in the front and it also flies like a dart, which isn’t accurate to the real F-5. In addition, it looks more like a T-38 as I did not add leading edge root extensions.
So I decided to remaster it. The first thing I did is create more accurate wings with both missile rails and leading edge root extensions. I also fixed the weight distribution, added a paint job to it, and added a launching hook. Lastly, I made the horizontal stabilizer always pitch up around 3.5 degrees so I wouldn’t need to bend it a lot.
I’m planning on making the Top Gun MiG-28 variant soon with more movie-accurate markings. I tested this at home, and it flies really well for a small plane.
u/N522DZDeltaairlines requested that I do the T-4 Sotka. I did some research about this plane and it looked really interesting. It was kind of like a Soviet XB-70.
I decided to use a black tailed livery as it was what I thought looked the best. I also added a hook to the bottom so I can launch it at high speeds. It flies really well indoors, probably helped by the small canards.
If you want to try building this, DM me. I suggest doing the canards last as they are small and somewhat fragile.
Personally, I think the Harrier would really be nice to have as a playable aircraft. It’s in so many games, but it has never been playable in mainline games. I want to be able to do VTOL in Ace Combat…
