Need advice.

Had a really close friendship with someone . We used to talk a lot and share random things throughout the day, especially reels.

One day, she was feeling vulnerable and was talking about her family problems, having no friends, and asked me if I liked her or not. I replied that I think I do. She misunderstood the context and asked for some time and distance.

She still talks and replies, but it feels like she’s being more conscious around me. The friendship isn’t broken, and I feel like it can still be repaired.

How can I fix this?
