What is your favorite Bible verse/passage?
After the veil is lifted, certain things in the ‘good’ book become absurd quickly. There’s a lot of verses that I love, but close to the top for me is Ezekiel 23:19–21, cause them boys hung like donkeys 🫏🐎🐴

“You know when you feel the Holy Spirit in you? You can’t really explain it to someone who hasn’t experienced it, it’s kinda like that!”
Something my sister said to me recently about something unrelated, that I found really weird. Like no, I don’t know when I feel the Holy Spirit? She just assumed that I would agree with her. I think I’ve felt a version of it while experiencing psychosis that made me think “yes god is here and I can hear him crystal clear!” But the high didn’t last.
We both grew up in cult like environment, and she thinks there were messed up things in our childhood, but she still has this tight grip on Holy Spirit stuff. She knows that I no longer go to church, but I didn’t think she was still that brain washed.
It really bothers me. Christian’s would call it guilt, but I guess I just wish I knew why it was never good enough for me. Idk why it never was, I wish I knew. Why is it good enough for her to be so fixated on, and accept the faith as the answer to all of life’s big questions, why isn’t it good enough for me? My whole family is religious still. I dont understand why I fell off. I juts can’t believe in that version of god.

Chinese restaurant sauce points?
I like to order steamed tofu, broccoli, and rice from my local Chinese place. It’s on the “diet” menu, and it comes with a sweet brown/red sauce. Everything else is pretty easy to calculate, but this sauce has me stumped. How many points would you consider this? I know it must be high due to the sugar content, but I have no idea. Help!

This exact one wasn’t in the database, so when I went to add it, it was points. But it’s just potatoes and seasoning, so I’m confused as to how to track this.

Can’t believe I found this at a thrift store

I don’t know if this is a common symbol, but I’ve never seen it before, and I absolutely went home with it!

Ever notice they only have one response to any moral criticism of their deity?

It’s always the same straw man arguments, false dichotomies, and whataboutism with Christian apologists. It’s like they don’t even listen before responding.

Saw this in another sub. People are beginning to ask questions.
Hopefully memes/ screenshots are allowed. Yes its humor, but it also speaks to a society that is beginning to ask questions that sound very Gnostic in nature.
