I have a 2005 xB 1NZ-FE engine

If I drive on the highway with topped off coolant in both the radiator and the recovery reservoir, it will over flow from it after 20 minutes and be empty in a few days. It always has some coolant in the radiator but its never full and the overheating engine light has only come on 3 times ever and those have been on exceptionally hot days. It has no other sighs of headgasket issues. It has had the head rebuilt and thermostat and... actually read THIS:

This persons post is exactly like my situation. All of it tho mine consumes less water. Does anyone have any experience with this and advice on what to do?

Second question: Has anyone used head-gasket sealant successfully?

"This is a long one. 2006 Scion xB, automatic, 1NZ-FE engine (same as found in the toyota echo), ~145k miles, no engine mods, only electrical modification is a subwoofer with amp pulling 500 watts at peak (no light dimming when playing or anything to suggest a current drop). At some point in its life the head gasket was replaced, which may or may not have been done correctly.

Seems to be it'll push all the coolant to the reservoir tank where it then overflows out the vent on the cap, and the engine overheats. First time it happened was on a ~20 mile drive at mostly 80 mph, but I don't know if it started on the highway or once I got onto suburb streets. The only temperature reading available in the car is a little blue light and a little red light, blue for while it's warming up and flashing red for when it's overheating. Not even a beeper or anything.

I have replaced, in order: thermostat, water pump, radiator, and radiator cap. No leaks to be found anywhere, no hose collapse, nothin. The first time it happened I found something vaguely like wet dryer lint stuck to the cap of the overflow tank, and pushed a couple little bits out when I flushed the system. The fan runs fine when it needs to, belts are tight, everything is spinning as it should. After overheating you'll find the overflow tank full to the brim and the radiator completely empty.

I am completely lost at this point, I just ran about 20 gallons of water through the block in both directions to see if it was blocked up to no avail. Water ran clear and seemed to come out as fast as it should.

I have no clue why it's still doing this. It only seems to do it after highway driving, but sometimes it takes 20 minutes and sometimes it takes 2 hours."

I, current OP, have not tested the coolant for exhaust but thats my next move

My PinqPonq backpack zipper just broke and is pretty gnarly from daily use for the past 5 years. I suppose I must move on. I like that bag because it is extremely utilitarian. The top opens (as well as 3 other places for that same compartment) and that top can roll out and extend to have even more space. I can get an 18 pack of beer in that easy with extra room and you would never know. I got a great deal on that expensive bag but dont think they sell them in the states anymore. Where can I find a bag similair to that? And what is a good website to browse/buy bags?

I fixed my driver side window switch, so now its broken. I cannot control the window or locks on anything. I have no ac and life now sucks. And i cant really lock my car. So if anyone knows where to get a driver side window control switch for a 05 scion xb I would be so happy.

And often the loading screen gets stuck on "retrieving quick play". Does anyone else have this problem? Clicking skip to next chamber twenty times is lame.

And now its just loading the saved levels I have in my library. It wont even find new community levels. This game is unplayable!

My insurance paid for an optometrist check up and the STEP program paid for the glasses thru Zenni. Problem is that the prescription was wrong. These give me a headache and I cant read out of my right eye. I had the check up done again and now have the correct prescription. But Zenni wont replace or refund, so theres $200 down the drain. And I have a headache.

Sorry if this doesnt belong here. I got a free steamer trunk that has a terrible spray paint job done to it. i think the previous owner was trying to express themselves on an antique to make it interesting (How does one learn if one never does?) But its horrible and they gave up half way thru on the poop brown spray job all over EVERYTHING. I would like to bring its charm back. How could I remove the paint from this? A little damage from removal is fine, since its looking nasty as is.

Also, I want to replace some broke backside hinges. They are riveted in and wondering if their is a standard screw that serves as a rivet replacement

I liked dexedrine over adderall because it gave me less of a foggy euphoria. It was the cleanest and the least druggy feeling out of the adhd meds I tried. I was still completely me, but a me on my best day. I miss that.

I stopped taking adhd meds for a few years after covid. I recently started again and the manufacturers have changed and I cant find the meds I used to take. I have to take sometimes double the amount of the crap i am getting to even get close to any benefit, but at that point I end up with mostly side effects. And then I crash HARD. This current one is the worst. Its Wilshire, which some people have said is one of the better ones. Not for me, or at least this batch. It feels like this dex is mostly melatonin with a bit of day-one of a new antidepressant mixed in. I feel like a chemical kind of drunk and it makes everything worse except my mood. Im too exhausted to be moody.

I did find some kvk brand that kinda work, but it was the lil 5 mg tabs that was supposed to boost the wrecking ball mallinckrodt ER dex I was trying. It was a lesser dose than I normally take but it was real!!! I tried to get those again, but they dont have them in stock now. -This almost seems like a conspiracy.

So this month I only have experimental adhd meds that make me completely physically and socially uncoordinated, but do actually work pretty well to go to sleep with. I guess I can call around town next month like Im in high school trying to buy ecstasy again. Fuck life!

Ive been on dexedrine for well over a decade and recently I keep getting generics that make me dumb, clumsy and sleepy and Im getting sick of every month feeling radically different than the last.

To those who once took stimulants and then stopped, what have you found that gives somewhat similar results?

Ive tried strattera and it would be passable if it wasnt for the side effects on my manhood and occasionally making me rage out. L-tyrosine works pretty well for me but doesnt seem to keep working every day.

Im soo tired of this inconsistent life.
