Metal Garage - Finally

I’m 37 but better late than never…

After a couple decades of riding and wrenching on vintage bikes I finally have my own garage.

My next step is electrical and drywall, wondering if anyone has tricked out their metal garage? Looking for inspiration.

Morning Commute

I’ve been taking the back roads on my R100 to get to work lately. Takes an extra 15 minutes but it’s worth it.

Before everyone freaks out, yes I have gloves. Yes, I wear them. Just was in a hurry and forgot them.

Bachelor Moto Trip

Me and my best friend who I’ve been riding with for 15 years went on a 6 day moto trip for his Bachelor party.

Denver -> Bueno Bista -> Ouray -> Durango -> Mesa Verde -> Telluride -> Aspen -> Denver

We woke up at 5:45am every day and we got to see amazing views. Highly recommend this trip.

Denver > Tetons

Hey all,

Me and my best friend are riding from Denver to Tetons and back on a 6 day moto trip. Does anyone have any recommendations or good info on riding through Wyoming or fun roads around the Grand Tetons?

Almost Finished

I built this R100 during COVID. One of my closest friends at the time had committed suicide and a few months later my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. It was a really dark time.

I work at a custom bike shop and was fortunate enough to be able to build this with access to a lot of great tools.

It was my first ground up build. Entire engine minus the crank and cam was rebuilt.

The block is a R75 upgraded to 1,000cc jugs and heads with a set of Delortto carbs.

The front end is off a 2010 ZX10R with a machined spoke hub.

Tank was refined and repainted to match the stock paint job.

The subframe was replaced by a Cognito Moto subframe and seat pan. Originally the seat was brown but I had it reupholstered black recently and I like it much better.

The rear wheel is a conversion hub with a disc brake for a little extra stopping power and the exhaust is from Cone Engineering.

My favorite part though is the speedometer, we wired all switches through the handlebars so there are no visible wires on the handlebars.

Thanks for reading, I love this page and seeing everyone’s bikes.

Training on a cut

Hey all - I’m not a body builder, but I am long time climber and strength trainer.

The last 22 days I’ve been on my first attempt at a real cut with the goal being to shed a few extra lbs of fat but keep my recent muscle gain. I went from 129 to 155 over the winter.

I’ve been tracking literally everything I eat with an app and I wanted to see this looks right for a cut. I normally operate at about 1,800cal per day.

Current goal is 1600 per day with 180g protein, 120g carbs because I’m still climbing and lifting as normal and I’m capping my fat right under 50g. Should I go lower with fat?

Thanks and I’m genuinely looking for advice, never done this.
