Luggage delayed - will they email me or whatsapp me if my phone no doesnt work?

Kind of stressing out. I gave my Australian number to the help desk agent when filing my claim for delayed luggage but now realised that my sim company does not provide roaming so theres no way for me to receive updates on my luggage.

Will they try whatsapp or reach me by email in this instance? I elected for them to deliver the luggage which I'm kind of now regretting also. I'm staying in an airbnb so I'm worried ill miss them.

Any advice welcome.

Is this legal? Next door short stay unit to be converted to a sleeping pod/hostel

My rental is in a building complex that used to be an apartment hotel- roughly half of the units were converted to regular rentals and speaking to some of these neighbours it looks like we have the same landlord (listed as the hotel company rather an individual) and REA.

One of the units that is still part of the hotel is now being converted to a sleeping pod or hostel scenario.

Wondering as to how legal this is? I presume they have a commercial stay permit for that unit but are there occupancy rules that apply? I feel like having a lot of people in a place thats designed as an apartment is potentially not ohs safe (there's only one exit for example), not to mention the much greater disruption that would bring over normal hotel guest amount.

We do really like our apartment and prefer not to leave but also a little wary of potential disruption.

Hello, I'm making my first build and have been struggling to get it to boot- it looks like i got faulty ram twice in a row. What are the chances of this happening or is something else I'm missing?

I went to a PC repair shop to confirm for the first set of ram as I was worried I might’ve missed something. They were able to get it to post with their test ram, updated the bios and checked the CPU pins so Im confident it's not the rest of the machine that's the issue.

With the second set of ram, I tried the usual troubleshooting: checking connections, reseating, trying 1 stick at a time in all ports, resetting CMOS.

What are the chances this second set is also faulty out of the box? Should I send back for a replacement or is there something else I can try? (Don't have a second pc to test it on)

Specs:

Cpu: Intel core ultra 5 245K

GPU: Asus geforce RTX 5060ti 16gb

MoBo: Gigabyte B860 Aorus elite WiFi 7 ICE LGA 1851 ATX

PSU: Silverstone 750w atx 3.0 PCIe 5.0 80+ gold

RAM: Klevv Fit V 2x16gb 6000mhz CL30 DDR5
