Which SAAQ location to get 6R?

Just passed my knowledge test but my paperwork was wrong when I was trying to get the liscence made so they told me they couldn’t do it. (Kirkland)

So then I made an appointment at CAA SAAQ Longueuil, I show up there and they tell me they can’t make a 6R liscence here and I need to go to a “point de service”.

The only “point de service” that is near where I live is Henry Bourassa which closes at 2:30… my work ends at 4pm.

I managed to find an appointment on a weekend at “rendez vous familiale point st Charle” on decarie. But on the SAAQ website it still says it’s a “mandataire” so I don’t know if they do class 6 liscencing… although they did do my class 5 learners…

What do you guys think? Am I wasting my time going to Decarie one or not? Do I juts take time off work?

Passed knowledge test with flying colours. Here’s how you can do the same…

Just did my test today and got 6/8, 7/8 and 29/32… (mind you I don’t have a class 5 so I’ve never done the knowledge test besides for my c5 learner)

Here’s what I studied:
1 SAAQ knowledge practice quiz
Especially if you don’t already have a class 5, do all the different versions until you don’t see new questions. If you start to feel like it’s becoming wayyy too easy, just go to the next resource. This ressource is too easy, you cannot rely on this at all… (the only reason some people say this is sufficient is because they’ve already done the road safety code part of their class 5)
2 read the conduire-moto pdf
This is probably the most important part of your studying, read it front to back and focus on the concrete steps they explain. Ex. They have this format where it’s something like A (asses the situation), B (do the manoeuvre), C (conclude). This is just one of 2-3 ways they give you a sort of step by step guide on attacking emergency situations, basic manoeuvre and general knowledge. I recommend making notes while you read.
Important: even though the book is long as fuck, just read it in bits and pieces… the maybe 5 hour long read is going to be worth not waiting 28 days or so to redo your test
3 watch a shit load of Phil le French videos
Really good playlist, just do the whole thing on 2x speed and note what u get wrong. The minute you don’t understand something just ask ChatGPT or notebookLM (upload the moto pdf) it’ll generally give u a decent answer.
Important: lots of info on this is wrong or dated, I highly recommend reading the moto pdf because that info is very safe, if you find conflicting info online and in the pdf we’ll, pray…
4 technic moto (or whatever your class offers) online practice exams
Yes I did these all, they are bad… do them but don’t be put too much faith into this regardless of whether you do good or bad… the questions are beyond awful… and some are blatantly wrong

Also don’t be like me and fill out your parental consent form properly… my mom didn’t and now I have to go back 🥲…

Questions about technic motorcycle course

How fast can I do the course? Can I do it in the span of a summer? 5-6 weeks?

How far is the on road sessions? Are they near the closed track in saint Laurent or else where?

Can you always pick the saint Laurent closed track or are there limited availability?

Thanks!

How could I prepare myself for linear algebra and discrete maths? Any resources? CSM

I’ll be taking linear algebra and discrete maths next year for my first semester at Vanier in CSM. I just wanted to know if anyone could share either the textbook I could use to study or their notes or any 3rd party sources that can help. I’m not the strongest student when it comes to maths and I want to do well so prepping myself during the summer seems like a good idea.

How do uni apps work for cegep students?

I’m planning on applying to uoft, western and queens next year after my first semester of cegep and I’m wondering how the application process works? I’m looking towards something finance orientated.

Do they just look at your R score from cegep? Or Your cegep grades?

Do they also look at your high school grades? And are they values more or less than your cegep grades/R score?
