Is eve frontier worth considering?

Old eve online player and when i heard about the frontier being crypto thing or something like that i brushed it off, but on the play aspect does it feel good and does it have potential becoming enjoyable game or should i just not even bother and not risk wasting time?

The thing that will haunt me forever

Long story short i cleared first encounter with lfg and well lfg's just cant grasp surviving at all so we were stuck on 2nd encounter when my friend lost one of their fireteam members and i joined them starting from verity, completed the raid and since everyone else was so tired i had to lfg the last few hours for the last encounters but unfortunately cant have shit with lfg so ultimately ended up not getting the banner :(. I still feel so defeated. The leaderboard position around top 300 means nothing to me if i didnt clear the 2 and 3

Perseus radar

Not sure if this topic has been talked about but perseus radar is utter garbage as a size 2 its effective range is way less than what the medusa can do, is there way to increase this in any way?

Maybe little unpopular or maybe even popular opinion

I hope hydrogen rebalance makes capital ships and large ships without dedicated atmo thrusters/similiar to use tons of fuel in planetary flight and be very suboptimal option to lockdown areas.

Am i tripping or did railen get pilot controlled quad s4's

from old data i see there was no pilot weapons but looking at the trailer i can see 2 guns on top and 2 on bottom of the frontal section and they look to be same size as the turrets which are s4's

They look fixed so I doubt theyre remote turrets either.

Star trek bridge crew vr?

Im not sure exactly where to ask this but ive had this game for very long time but never actually booted it once.

I was wondering if theres people who like that game and would be interested in taking me for a session, I heard the game is best played with groups but none of my friends have the game or are interested.

Procedural walking for follower?

So i recently made little mechanical spider, instead of making just walking animation i decided that id want to use final ik or any other means to make the walking look better, but i quickly realized theres no tutorials or really info at all on this.

How would I make this happen?

ive experimented with final ik and such but not sure how to make solver work at all or what to even use as solver since its a follower not my actual avatar. the whole thing is very new to me and i just cant find any kind of information on this.
