My Quickfix 6.4 Labcorp Experience

So I was coming from an hour away because I had another appointment and i decided to do a last minute fuck it and just get tested. It’s for school & I got really impatient. No practice no nothing.

I tucked the QF + Heat onto my balls and drive 50mins w the warmer on. I get there and there was 40 MIN wait time. I was nervous, scared that the heat was gonna be gone by the time I go.

I finally got to the room and she had me empty out everything and tells me I have 4 mins to pee. My mind goes blank and she’s right outside the door. I get the bottle and I start to squeeze in the cup. Not going fast enough. I had to turn the lid open. It was so fucking loud. Thankfully she didn’t say anything. Bagged and tagged.

Wish me luck everyone!

COTA VS OTR IN SD

Hi everyone, is it worth it being a COTA or getting 100k in loans to be an OTR. I’m going to be living w my parents until I pay off loans. In San Diego, anyone experienced? Please don’t say neither. I like OT :). I don’t need the negativity LOL just finances and logistics por favor.

SWO vs Grad school -> Mil OT

Hi everyone,

I got accepted into an occupational therapy masters program and I wanted to see if I should just go into my MSOT program then try for an officer spot when accredited vs. just going to be a line officer and be a SWO.

I really want to be an occupational therapist and it would be amazing being an OT in the military (especially the Navy) but I know it’s a competitive officer position. I would also be taking out a lot of loans to get my graduate degree.

My other option would be a SWO, I don’t qualify for any other officer position but I really want to get my foot in the door and be an officer as well. I know being a SWO is tiring and a lot of people don’t like it but I really want to set up a future for myself.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

OT VS ABSN SoCal

Hi everyone,

I originally wanted to be an OTR but trumpydumpy changed OT to be considered “unprofessional”. I then took up extra classes and planned on doing an ABSN program out of state (private loans). However, a judge blocked his bill and OT is considered temporarily professional again (Federal loans). So now I’m stuck deciding between the two!

I really do love the OT field and I feel really fulfilled when I did shadow. But I know the pay between the two is very similar but I would take out private loans if I did nursing vs federal loans if I did OT.

If anyone can give me their 2¢ and some advice I would love to hear it.

I just want to live comfortably, I don’t have kids but want some in the future.

Pros of nursing:
-work 3 days a week
-flexible schedule
-good upward mobility
- lots of variety
Cons of nursing:
- bodily fluids
- bedside
- private loans (housing + tuition)

Pros of OT:
- fun and rewarding
- no nights
- dont have to pay for housing

Cons of OT:
- expensive
- federal debt (better than private loans)

Looking for budget 60-80 boxing gloves

Hi guys, I’m a beginner but I’ve had everlast boxing gloves for a while (I picked up boxing a couple years ago and just starting to train again). But the leather is flaking now and I wanted to replace it. What are some good options? Nothing crazy expensive. I was looking at “Yokkao essential boxing gloves”

Hi everyone,

I plan on applying for the 2027 cycle on September for my ABSN program that starts September 2027. How competitive is NCP? I haven’t had really much leadership, but I have a good experience and gpa 3.69.

Thank you!

ABSN Work Scholarship

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew how likely it would be for UR to extend the work scholarship program for their ABSN nursing program. I found out about this program really late and I won’t be able to apply until after the summer cohort starts. I’m coming from a low-income background so any help achieving my dreams would be appreciated

Thanks
