anyone else sees parallels between Stannis (book) and Aemond?
second son, kinslayer, alledgedly manipulated by a witch, good at war strategy, read as autistic coded by the fandom.
also, Stannis' there is the history with an injuried goshawk, Proundwing, who he nursed back to health but could never fly high as before. Robert used to mock Stannis, and his uncle convinced him of abandoning the animal. That event changed Stannis' personality, as much as the loss of the eye did to Aemond's
i don't know, i really like Stannis in the book, top 5 of the characters i relate the most in ASOIAF lol. i hated what they've done to him on the show.
