Thank You To Whoever Put Out The Fire On My Subaru At Bob’s Furniture Last Night

Long shot, I’m sure this will not reach the person. 4th of July fireworks madness. Was parked in the Bob’s parking lot, me and my friend walked to Big Y to use the bathroom. As we’re waiting in line, he gets a call, and says my car is on fire. I sprint back as quick as I can. I get back and the fire was already out. I was told someone lit a firework that beelined for my car, starting a fire in my grille/radiator area that apparently went on for a couple minutes before a Good Samaritan put it out with an extinguisher they had.

9 times out of 10, especially if I was there when it happened, I’d probably be pissed about whoever did it. But I’m just grateful my car is surprisingly completely fine, and wish I could tell the person with the fire extinguisher how grateful I am.

Guys, please don’t be stupid with fireworks. Hope everyone had a great 4th, I surprisingly did regardless of the incident.

2008, 145k miles, little bit of rust on body and bottom, frame isn’t pristine but isn’t bad. I love it but I got a newer car and need money.

Huge fan of Patrick Nagel art, so I saw this and refused to consider anything else. Off brand/possibly subpar hardware from TGM Skateboards, but if any of it is actually bad I’ll be upgrading and experimenting anyway. Figured Plan B was a reputable enough brand having known them from my middle school Tech Deck days. I am really excited to get this board moving. No, never heard of Patrick Duffy prior, but I’ll look into him.

So glad I got a helmet, did my first face plant today. Would I be dead without it? Probably not, but broken noses still are not fun. Got away with nothing but sore hands and a sprained wrist. Can’t wait for the 4th day.

I have a bad habit of getting myself into boss fights with low health and no rations and no save to go back to. My health at the beginning of this one was not much more than it is at the beginning of this video. Must’ve been my 150th try before I finally got it.

If I was *really* anal I’d shave the heel down to be square, but that’s way too much work for the reward imo. Gonna record some clips, then install the Lollar horseshoe for some A/Bing. I plan to at some point also do a video comparing the 1/2” neck pickup spacing to the 1” pickup spacing.

Edit- for the record, the Fireglo is much more vibrant in person, Reddit kills the color in my photos for some reason.
