Frute, the band, released their new album today, “Lots Of Letters”, and it fucking rocks! They’re not necessarily a jam band, but definitely jam adjacent. I first saw them when they opened for Spafford, and knew they were special. Do NOT sleep! They are one of the best live experiences in the game rn!

Tonight, Phish ends their 9 show, 3 weekend residency at the Sphere. Everybody knows they are going to do something special, but what will it be? Here’s what I want to happen (it won’t). In the first set, they play a normal set, open with fluffhead, one song like ruby waves goes for a big jam. Normal first set. In the second set, they come out, and they start Harpua. Big bust out, everybody’s hyped, but then… a heartbeat starts, the visuals stop… and some new visuals come on the screen. It’s the entire WOZ experience, and Phish plays all of Dark Side of The Moon. Greatest 3.0 set ever played, some say. What do you even do for an encore after that? We climb up the mountain, and READ THE FUCKING BOOK.
