I was with a family friend who I will likely be in touch with for the rest of my life, who someone told me I had upset because of forgetting to tell her about my dietary requirements when she cooked for me, but we never actually argued. Her mother-in-law had been excluding me from invitations since I went gluten free already.
I'd sent her a couple of messages recently about a project i was working on and she said she hadn't seen them. It turned out she'd archived me, and when she was looking for my message she acted like she was totally confused by what had happened and didn't know about the archiving feature and took 2 minutes to figure out how to unarchive me.
Do you think it was an accident or do you think she did it deliberately?

I'm totally confused about DAPs now. i have nuraphone headphones which are only bluetooth 4 so i have problems with bluetooth signal more so on some daps than others.
I've owned hiby R4 - there was hiss after 3 months and i wasn't blown away by the sound. no problem with bluetooth signal.
fiio m21 - problem with bluetooth signal. sound good. didn't love.
ibasso dx180 - bluetooth signal good. 3.5" port broke after 8 months. sound good but didn't blow me away
sony a55l - bluetooth signal good. lost the charging port. just ordered a new one. sound good.
hiby r6 pro ii 2025 - loved the sound so much, but there was distortion on some tracks - only tested on sennheiser hd600s. bluetooth terrible. one or two other technical issues.
i like having an android app store, and especially want apple music and a really good built in dedicated player and good eq options. i love the hiby mseb options.
getting a bluetooth signal on my nuraphones is my priority right now, so please recommend something that can guarantee that. Maybe i need to go back to the ibasso? or is there something else.
think i overspent on the r6 pro ii - but if something is really fantastic at the price £650 ($750) i'll go with it.
considering the shanling ultra 3 but worried about lack of apple music. i have tidal also. is tidal reliable on that, because the android tidal i've always had problems with.

My synology nas conked out after 3 months. i gave up on all the troubleshooting so it might have been repairable. it was just too complicated.
it told me the two synology drives i had in there were healthy. it didn't look like i'd lost data from the time machine backup i had but when i was backing up it inconsistently connected but didn't figure out what was causing that.
and i hadn't managed to get started with the second drive i added when i made a mistake repairing the storage pool then i just got beeping and stuck in a loop.
i was onto synology support who tried very hard to help.
anyway, that story is to give you a clue of whether you think the drives are fine and now i'm thinking of keeping the drives and saving myself the hassle of taking them back and getting new ones, and just getting usb enclosures for those drives. the idea of getting anything that ends in AS like a DAS just scares me now 😂

Hi, I bought a fiio m21 and i found the bluetooth was crackly in my left pocket on my nuraphones, and it wasn't that loud on my sennheisers, and there were clicks and hisses when i touched the screen and pressed buttons.
Faulty device or common problems???
My iBasso broke after 18 months, so i'm thinking of going with shanling ultra. Is that more reliable?

My iBasso DX180 broke within a year (the 3.5mm port failed). I read other reports of failures but don't know if this is any more common than other devices? Is it considered durable compared to other devices as good quality?
Can you please recommend an alternative similar device that is more durable under $600?

My latest video got only 5 views in spite of having all viewers watch the entire 2min50 music video. My views have been going down and down since getting some videos around 20,000 views. I've been on youtube since 2007 and only have 447 subs so i'm not monetized.
BUT what I think is happening is that I've been shadowbanned for making controversial comments on other people's videos that I think the creators may have deleted (or even reported - I don't know do you get a warning for reported comments if youtube doesn't mind them?)... Well at least challenging what I think is out of line often on sensitive political issues....?????
(My other main possible explanations for reduced views are: It's a cover I applied for permission on distrokid later but not for youtube itself (but that doesn't explain why my average views has dropped to 50 for the last year); youtube wants me to pay for adverts cos i got 20,000 views the only time i paid for an advert; low retention time and click rate on other videos; although my channel is 95% music, too many video effects and changes in video style (I wonder if people just like clear faces facing you these days); trying to push me to making shorts cos i've only made 4, and they're averaging noticeably more views (but i fricking hate shorts!!!); and removing videos myself from my channel, and sometimes putting them up again and removing them again)

Digital ID is rolling out in the Uk and other countries. At this stage the uk government seems to have said they will be compulsory. Do you think we'll be able to function in life by showing our dumbphones and saying we can't afford a smartphone???
