Loan Request: $2390 AUD, VIC Australia, Repay $2390 on 06/09/2026, PayPal / Bank Transfer, rent support while WorkCover dispute continues

Hi everyone,

I’m requesting a short-term loan of $2390 AUD to help cover rent for my family while I’m unable to work and going through a WorkCover dispute.

I’m in Victoria, Australia. Over the last few months I’ve been dealing with a work-related mental health injury. I’m under medical care and currently unable to work. My WorkCover claim is still being disputed, and the process is moving slowly, which has disrupted my income.

I have a wife and daughter, and the money would be used toward rent / essential household costs this month.

I can repay $2390 on 06/09/2026 via [PayPal / bank transfer / other method]. This will be when I receive my first income protection payment. I can provide reasonable proof privately if needed, such as rent amount, ID, and relevant documentation, but I won’t post personal information publicly.

Please comment here first if you’re able to help. I will not respond to unsolicited DMs unless you have commented on this post first.

Thank you for reading.

Request: Help covering rent for my family while my WorkCover dispute is ongoing

Hi everyone,

I’m asking for help covering this month’s rent for my family while I’m unable to work and going through a WorkCover dispute.

Over the last few months I’ve been dealing with a serious work-related mental health injury. I’m under medical care and currently unable to work, and the WorkCover process is still ongoing. I’m doing the formal steps properly, but it is moving slowly and my income has been heavily disrupted.

I have a wife and daughter, and right now my main priority is keeping our rent paid and keeping the household stable while I continue through the dispute process.

I’ve set up a GoFundMe here: https://gofund.me/dbba56c95

The money will go toward this month’s rent and essential household bills. I’m not asking lightly, and I know everyone has their own pressures. Any amount would genuinely help. If you’re not able to donate, even sharing it privately with someone who may be able to help would mean a lot.

Thank you for reading.

Help covering rent for my family while my WorkCover dispute is ongoing

Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds to help cover this month’s rent for my family while I’m unable to work and going through a WorkCover dispute.

Over the last few months, I’ve been dealing with a serious work-related mental health injury. I’m under medical care and currently unable to work. My WorkCover claim is still being disputed, and while I’m continuing through the formal process, it is moving slowly and my income has been heavily disrupted.

I have a wife and daughter, and my main priority is keeping our rent paid and keeping our household stable while I continue treatment and work through the dispute process.

I’ve set up a GoFundMe here: https://gofund.me/dbba56c95

The funds raised will go toward rent and essential household bills. I can provide redacted proof of the rent/bills and relevant documentation if required by the moderators.

I know many people are struggling, so I don’t ask lightly. Any support, even a small amount or a share, would genuinely help my family get through this month.

Hi there - I’m looking to buy an aqara U400, but there are none locally in order to answer the following question - I have current keys that I’d like to rekey the U400 to work with, and they are TE2 / GR10 / Gainsborough type keys, so I’m wondering if these physically fit the key cylinder?

The reason I ask is I was looking at lockly recently but their key profile is way thinner than my keys so I’d have to replace the cylinder, so hoping not to have to do that with a U400.

Any help appreciated!
