Help planning our travel route from La Paz

Hii, I would love some help/tips/recommendations for planning my upcoming SA trip. It's our second time in SA and this is what we're thinking:

Buenos Aires –> Iguazú –> (flight from Iguaçu) Santiago de Chile –> Easter Island –> Santiago de Chile –> Calama (with immediate transfer to San Pedro) –> Uyuni (via a group tour that ends there) –> (overnight bus to) La Paz

...and then we're kinda stuck on how to continue. We want to go to Quito but there are no direct flights and they're kinda expensive, I could go via Cusco and do Machu Picchu again, but my husband isn't too excited about it since we've already done it once.

Totally open to suggestions of places I haven't thought of/heard of.

Where should we go after La Paz? And more importantly, how!

NB: we cannot rent a car so only flights/buses/trains/group tours.

Thanks!!

Matka Canyon – without the 6 hour tour

Hi!

I'm visiting Skopje this weekend with a friend (and we're very excited) and we want to visit Matka Canyon on Sunday. From my research I've found that going with a tour is supposedly the best option, but I can only find tours that are 6 hours and include stops at other places too. Our flight back home leaves at 17:00 and all the tours start at 09:30 so that is cutting it too tight. I've also looked into the local buses and everyone I've seen advises against it.

Can you help me please? How can we visit Matka Canyon in the easiest way possible and returning to the city before 15:00?

Tips on how to travel within El Salvador?

Hi!

I hope this is the right place to post – I'm looking to visit El Salvador in January/February and need some help planning. Here are the things I most want to see:

  • Santa Ana volcano
  • Las Sietes Cascadas
  • Ruta de los Flores
  • Cascadas de Tamanique
  • Los Chorros
  • Moncagua (I know this one is further away from the others)

➡️ How should I plan my trip?
Where should I start, where should I end? How do I do this in the best way?

Important factors:

I don't have a driver's license so renting a car is unfortunately out of the question.
I don't have endless time on my hands; looking to stay for about a week.
I don't necessarily need it to be budget-friendly either, my priority is convenience.

Also, if there's anything you think I should add to my list or if I should skip something, please let me know!

New Year's

Hi! Currently planning a trip and wondering what happens at New Year's (31 Dec-1 Jan) on Rapa Nui. Is it something the locals celebrate? It would be best with our itinerary to go there over New Year's, so I'm very curious what it would be like.

Thanks in advance!

Sälja äldre kameror – nån med erfarenhet? / Brunos Bildverkstad / Kamerastore

Hej!

First time watching, so many references & storylines found in other shows??

I have no idea which ones came first (it may definitely be that the Middle isn't copying anything at all) but there are sooo many references and storylines that I recognize from other shows – something I haven't experienced from any other shows, and I just found it interesting.

I've reacted 10+ times but I can't remember the ones from previous seasons right now, haha. Here are those I've noticed in season 9 so far:

  • Frankie's obsession with the Swedish "dödsstädning" death cleaning – Charles' obsession with the Norwegian "munkensmat" death cleaning in Brooklyn 99
  • Frankie watching the theme from Ice Castles to make herself cry – Gilmore Girls when Rory teases Dean and says "the theme from Ice Castles makes you cry"
  • Sue's unplanned blindfolded birthday surprise from Axl – Uncle Mitch's unplanned blindfolded birthday surprise from the Dunphy kids in Modern family

Has anyone else noticed this?
