What car seat to go with?

Edit to update: I was blinded by the newness and latch and completely forgot about the importance of rear facing infants and toddlers!! I think the Pepper spin or something similar is going to be the way to go. Thank you all!

I'm usually the one on here obsessed with Joie products (not sponsored). I'm looking at either the Pepper Spin or the new Bay Latch. We have the Mint Latch and I LOVE that it's baseless so it can easily be moved to other cars. So I was thrilled to see the new Bay Latch that can go all the way to a backless booster. The cost is also very appealing. The other option is the Pepper Spin. It's newborn to a backless booster and it spins. We'd be missing out on the newborn part since baby will move from bucket seat to whatever we get next. I don't know if we plan on having more kids, but if we did, the Pepper would be nice. If we went this route, we'd probably get a less expensive seat for our other car since it's not easily movable. There's also the Saffron, which is basically the Pepper, but doesn't spin.

I guess the main question is how important is the spin function? What would you go with? Or a secret other option?

Breastfeeding Issues at 7mo

My baby has been combo fed from the start and recently, it’s been a struggle at night. One of my nipples is a different shape and size compared to the other. It’s my “underperforming” breast but usually I can get her to latch and stay the same amount of time as the other one.

Recently, she gets angry on that side at night and frequently unlatches to cry. I can usually re-latch but tonight was so hard (I type this at 4am). I’m not sure what to do. Use a nipple shield again? Just pump that side? I tried starting her on that side and she got so angry because she expects better flow, I guess? What ended up working was starting on the better side, then switching fairly early, then back again.

The other issue is that she HAS to move her arm while breastfeeding. I lay her on both sides depending on what breast and she waves her arm around, hits me, scratches my shoulder/neck, pulls on skin, pulls hair (I wear it up but if I haven’t head down she can reach). I try to hold her arm down, but she gets upset and unlatches. It’s been happening for a few months but it’s ramped up in the last 2 weeks.

STM Exclusive Poster

This was the poster. It’s like a 8.5x11 cardstock print. I like the design but idk, I didn’t think it was worth having to download the barcode for. This could’ve been a thing everyone got.

Too anxious to sleep

I used to be able to do middle of the night wake ups and go right back to sleep. Now at 5mo, I’m too anxious. The last wake up was pretty easy and over an hour ago and I’m still awake. I’m not anxious that something bad will happen. Just anticipating the next wake. I tend to get frustrated at myself for not being able to sleep, keeping myself up longer. Baby had been sleeping through the night for 2.5 months, but has been waking due to teething and potential sleep regression. How do I sleep again?

Should/Can I go longer between pumps?

Important note: I'm not looking to drastically increase supply, I want to continue combo feeding, and I don't want to do scheduled MOTN pumping.

I'm 19w pp. My BF/Pumping journey has been really tough and I combo feed (from the start) because I'm an undersupplier. I BF on demand or every 3-3.5 hours when at home. At work, I pump every 3 hours (don't want to increase that amount).

Recently, baby woke up in the MOTN two nights in a row and I BF'd, my first pump at work was 1oz more than normal. Then, baby slept through the night since. Today, I BF'd baby an hour early bc they got up an hour earlier. My first pump at work was 1oz more again. I'm wondering if I can go more than 3 hours between pumps to get more breastmilk? I'm under the assumption that more removal is good.

Thanks for any advice, this sub has been helpful and I appreciate that it's inclusive to any amount of pumping.
